The most beautiful sight !!

Glendalough Upper Lake - Valley of the Two Lakes, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th Century, a monk, who would sleep in a cave in the Mountains. Glendalough became a spot for learning, spirituality, and craftsmanship, drawing pilgrims and scholars across Ireland.

I spent the morning wandering through the Arklow Plein Air Festival at the @arklowartscentre , taking in paintings that captured familiar coastlines, quiet corners and moments of everyday life around Arklow. 🌿

It’s always interesting seeing a place you know so well through someone else’s eyes. There was an incredible amount of talent on display, and it was a lovely reminder of how much creativity exists right on our doorstep.

One thing that did make me smile though… dozens of brilliant artists, and only @art.bynoelle had their Instagram displayed. 😂 That’s either genius marketing… or everyone else is trying to stay a secret. Fair play-you’ve earned yourself a follow.

But I’ve of course included the artists names in the photos.

Obviously my photos and videos don’t do the actual art justice, and instagram only allows me to upload a limited amount, so pop into your local art gallery and support Irish artists, most of these places are free to enter!

If you’re local and get the chance, it’s well worth popping in and supporting the artists behind the work. 🎨

Lough Tay Lake in County Wicklow, Ireland was a site to behold with its awe inspiring views!😍

We visited in the evening, close to sunset, which enhanced the quality of our photos.🌄

Lough Tay, located along Sally Gap Drive, is nicknamed "Guinness Lake" because of its dark waters and white shoreline and because it's located on the Guinness family's private estate.🍺
