Some images I took this weekend at the @blackwomenphotographers Oakland photo walk this past Saturday. We were all assigned a color, and mine was green. What a beautiful day! Thank you to @aleexisflyd and @blackwomenphotographers for hosting such a fun event. Shout out to all the amazingly talented Black Women Photographers that pulled up and everyone who posed for me! I might share more later...🐛📸

Mexico City dump
Checked so many boxes off the bucket list!

✅ Rode in a hot air balloon
✅ Explored ancient pyramids
✅ Got serenaded on a boat
✅ Ate authentic tostadas

Thanks to @visuals.by.bri for getting me out of the house (and country) for a much needed girls trip ❤️

✨Wow July sure did come and go! This was a month that I truly felt loved on. Even in my procrastination and lack of enthusiasm forever grateful for my sisters, my friends, my family that kept asking the question until the last minute “what we doing to celebrate you?” Something I will never take for granted. From recording songs, to whiskey tasting, to line dancing, to wine tasting thanx for always being down for the cause. I love yall to the fullest! ✨

⭐️ We’ve got 2 great events for you this weekend! SATURDAY, celebrate with Brianna Mills @visuals.by.bri as she introduces her new travel photography collection at RBA! You’ll be able to chat with her about her many travels and she’ll share her inspiration and process. Please RSVP at the web address on the flyer.

⭐️ SUNDAY, @latishabakerartworks is hosting another Create-Ful beading event! This time you’ll be making charms for your home and/or body. Latisha will provide the beads, but if you have some special ones of your own, feel free to bring them. A donation for materials is appreciated but no one will be turned away. Please DM Latisha or email latishabakerartworks@gmail.com to RSVP.

Both events are 12pm to 4pm. See you this weekend!

33 🎈we here baybeee

this past year has required a grit & determination like never before. it brought about a fearlessness, and an expansive sense of self. through it all, community was a constant well I found myself drinking from.

in true Aquarius fashion, I leaned into the adventure of it all and had a full few days in Yosemite. the heaviness of our society never fully left us, but made me even more grateful for recalibration, breath in this body, and two comrades down for whateva 🫂✨

Idk guys…. Pretty sure we messed around and DID OUR THANGGGGG YESTERDAY!

The way this BTS (📹: @hey__del - who NAILED THIS BTS unexpectedly cuz she was just there to support me as a friend 😝) is looking 👀 i can’t WAIT to see what the shots are gonna look like!

I’m so thankful for my village mannnn, I might not have a staff but i have COMMUNITY!!! Just ask my sister and my future personal stylist (in my head) @rebelintheglory 🤭!!

💋💄Makeup By: @ashlayyyyyyyyy - GURL i would have been so lost yesterday without you! You didn’t just glam me you assisted with shots, ordered food, shot content, zipped my skirt 😂 anything i needed and I’m so so thankful!

📸 Shot By: @visuals.by.bri - thank you so much for helping me bring my vision to life! Finding this amazing location, directing all the shots on my DETAILED shot list 😂 busting out the final two looks in 30 mins! YOU DID THAT! I’m thankful 🙏🏽

I am rebuilding No Conformity from the inside out. December is for capturing, creating, and preparing. January is for the New Era.

still beaming from my trip late last month celebrating #BriDay33 em Brasil 😌 a week’s worth of Afro-Brazilian history, mouth-watering eats, and new experiences. Bahia for the culture, Rio for the adventure. South America has been my 2024 #mood and I’m already plotting my return!
