⭐️✨Still vibing from @Melbourne Stories that Stir® - DETOURS event this week. I was one of five speakers, each given ten minutes to share a story. The session ran like a silent disco: everyone put on headphones, settled in and listened closely to one storyteller’s voice. It created such a lovely sense of presence and connection. Stories cross cultures and bring us together through emotion. They help us make sense of what we’ve lived, recognise the lessons along the way and pass them on to others. Storytelling has always been a big part of my life and also the programs we run with leaders. Our stories and lived experience is what will connect us to others and set us apart in a automated world of AI and disconnection. My story was about the journey from surviving to limitless. The past two and a half years have brought challenges I could never have imagined, and some things I still struggle to put into words. I spoke about the Gift Mindset: learning to welcome the unwelcome and look for what a difficult experience might teach us. That doesn’t make the hard parts easy, but it can change how we move through them. I shared what I’ve learned along the way, and how those lessons of strength, optimism and gratitude can help us face all kinds of challenges, adversity and transitions in life. Sharing a story is all about the audience and a big thank you to everyone that showed up! A huge shout-out to my fellow speakers & Leigh-Anne Sharland and the team, and Monica Rosenfeld Storyteller for bringing such a beautiful idea to life. What a special event.🙏🩷 @storiesthatstir

What becomes possible when you stop editing yourself out of your own story? The experience you’ve earned. The perspective you bring. The ambition you haven’t said aloud. Changing the narrative begins with recognising the richness of who you are, and giving that a place in the story you tell. Bring the idea you’re still finding words for. Bring the parts of your story that don’t fit into a job title. Bring yourself as you are today. Speak out loud. Your future self is listening. What does “changing the narrative” mean to you? #TheDaringCollective #SpeakOutLoud #ChangingTheNarrative

THE WORLD NEEDS ACCESSIBLE STAGES… For the woman on her mission, the one growing her sense of ‘self’ as a leader… She needs to know how it FEELS to be on the stage… to be in the space… to be around the women also making their mark… to be in the spaces where women are having big conversations about things that matter… Something I’ve witnessed time and time again, is the power of the things that transform when the woman with a big vision and dream gets on the stage… up in front of a room of other women… Something inside her grows, changes, steps into her grander version of self… and her vision and dream begins to feel possible… real… attainable… And on the other side? Well… that time, that becomes “just the first time”… Because what is true is this: The people. The opportunities. The people. They ALL appear. And before she knows it… she’s expanded far beyond her previous self… as has her work, her business, the things she was put on this planet for. Because here’s the thing: We ALL have something to share. We ALL have something to learn from each other. We ALL deserve to be in spaces where our words - wisdom - magic - stories can be seen - felt - experienced. … And we all deserve to know how it feels to be received in sharing our story with the world. WE ARE NOW 8 WEEKS OUT FROM THE SUMMIT… THIS MEANS THAT “THIS” IS YOUR TIME… Come “ROCK ON” with us, in one of the planet’s 🌍 best playgrounds 🛝 🏊‍♀️ 🌴🥥 *** 3 MONTH PAYMENT PLAN OPTION IS ABOUT TO CLOSE OFF- IT’S BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL END OF JUNE *** The dets are here: https://www.theaspireseries.com/the-aspire-summit Love, M x

Solo puedo decir: ¡qué libro tan maravilloso!

#volverati #circulodemujeres #transformacion #conexion

ON THE TOPIC OF FUCK UP NIGHTS… I HAVE A 4.5 DAY SUMMIT PASS TO HAND OUT FOR ONE VERY LUCKY WOMAN WHO WAS IN THE ROOM LAST WEDNESDAY… … Before I lead into that piece, I want to speak to why it mattered to me that I offered this pass up, that is worth $2455 AUD. My deepest passion is about women leading change and impact… and I will use whatever I have been gifted with in this lifetime to fulfil this mission. Through the highs and the lows, and every space in between… THIS stuff matters. If real change is going to happen in this world, it will come about because women have a strong role to play in leading it. WHAT DOES FUCK UP NIGHTS HAVE TO DO WITH THIS? Far too often we build leaders up… to tear them down. For the budding leader who is truly on the path… whether in business or any other setting… we KNOW that it takes something to birth, grow, generate, sustain, powerfully amplify our impact for ourselves… and those around us. We take the risks. We overcome our stuff. We hold the space. We take the responsibility. We navigate more than the average human could ever wrap their heads around. For these and a million other reasons, it matters immensely that we have spaces where leaders can honestly, openly and humbly… share the whole story without fear and to support others on their way. To encourage the guiding of conversations about how we can lead in far better ways. This is why I wanted to support and honour the space offered on Wednesday night… and this is why I am super excited to have one of the women (as well as those who are a part of the Aspire community already) be welcomed along to The Summit in Ubud in August. And that woman is….. See below 👇
