Brevay x Veronica Ewers x Feisty Media

Yesterday morning, Feisty Media sponsored Brevay’s weekly WTNB Thursday Morning ride with @vkewers. Veronica raced professionally for EF Education and finished 9th overall at Tour de France avec Zwift in 2022. We rode 20 miles through Seattle then wrapped up by watching the Tour de France Femmes together. 40 women showed up - showing the world what momentum looks like!

Training Camp Diaries: Race Simulation Day. 🚴‍♀️💨

At training camp, we practiced paceline drills repeatedly across different training days, with the @auber93cyclisme riders splitting into two groups, rotating at speed before building into full leadouts.

The goal was to recreate the speed and pressure of racing while sharpening positioning, communication, timing, and the ability to move as one unit.

Every rider has a role, every move has to happen at the right moment, and the entire team has to stay connected as the pace rises.

The word of the day? Woof. 🐶

Follow along for more behind-the-scenes moments from Training Camp Diaries.

I’ve written and rewritten so many captions by now- I think my teammates have all summed up what the three weeks in Boulder were like, in so many ways. The reason we keep talking about it is because it wasn’t just your regular old altitude camp on a mountain spending all hours pedaling or sleeping- it was so, so much bigger than that.
I suppose the only thing I want to add is just how grateful I am for @allenskratch, who has such an amazing ability to create an environment for athletes that intertwines science and learning and curiosity together with so much “grandma,” soul, purpose, and love. It’s the people that surround and fill up @skratchlabs that embody this, with love for what they do and it is honestly so powerful. Coming away from this camp, going into the biggest race in the world and everything after it… we are so lucky.

So, a million thank you’s:
to @auber93cyclisme for the exploration and curiosity
to my teammates for their adventurous mindset
to @bijuthechef and @bailey.smock and @skratchlabs.table for fueling us with the best food
to @cuboulder Applied Exercise Science Lab students and Dr. Kim for their research and analysis
to @traceyjacobs_coach_bdywrkr, @ineess001, @logan.peiffer, Walter, Jenny, @lifeofgreif, gosh the credits to this movie go on and on 😆🙏🏼
And of course- to @avery_stumm and @dominiquepowers for capturing so much of it. 📸

There’s more coming on the bike race that starts in 4 days... 👀

Unreasonably helpful that’s who @allenskratch , @skratchlabs team and friends are to their core. I had the privilege of joining the @auber93cyclisme team for two weeks at their Tour de France femmes avec Zwift training camp here in good ole Boulder, Colorado.

The camp was soooo much fun I laughed alot AND it got me out of my comfort zone. I learned a lot, I was challenged, I suffered a good bit but in the best kind of bike racer way.

There were so many helping hands doing all the little things to make this camp happen and the amount of care and hospitality behind the scenes is something I’ve never experienced before. @allenskratch cares deeply about athletes and that care has become Skratch labs core value of being unreasonably helpful. All of the little things were taken care of so that the athletes could perform at their absolute best. It’s crazy how different I felt as an athlete with a team around me who even as their guest, they cared and helped. they treated me like I was apart of the team.

So a HUGE thank you to @allenskratch , @skratchlabs friends, and the @auber93cyclisme team and staff for welcoming me. I feel so honored to have been able to spend the last two weeks with such incredible women who are so inspiring. So yeah I am now @auber93cyclisme biggest fan and I can’t wait to see what they do at the tour and beyond 🤩

I’m so thankful to have spent this past week back home in Colorado at the St. Michel training camp. Thank you to all of the girls for being so welcoming, supportive, and inspiring. It was such a special week to train together, share stories, push each other, and be reminded how lucky we are to do what we love alongside such amazing people.
.
A huge thank you to, @allenskratch , and the entire staff for opening your doors, creating such an incredible environment, and making everyone feel at home. Your generosity, encouragement, and the genuine sense of community you create made this week one I’ll carry with me for a long time.
.
Now it’s time to trade the Rockies for Europe. 🇪🇺✈️ Back to racing, with a full heart and a lot of gratitude.

Incredible art by 📸 @dominiquepowers and some fun flicks with my favs from home for a short week as well ❤️
