There’s something so intimate about making medicine for the people you love. The herbs, the rituals, the little bit of magic i get to weave into taking care of him.

And the fact that this man lets me be me, steeping, mixing, concocting some new shit for him to try. 😂🌿

For a long time, I was living a life I didn’t recognize, trying to find my footing while everything familiar was changing.

Grief has a way of making the world feel very small. You get quiet. You turn inward. You do what you can with what you have, and sometimes that’s all there is to give.

I’m beginning to feel the space around me again. To notice the little things. To feel joy without having to reach for it. To understand that I can miss what was and still be grateful for what is.

I don’t have a neat ending for this chapter. Just a lot more tenderness for myself than I had when I was in the thick of it.

And a quiet kind of gratitude for the life that kept meeting me, even when I didn’t quite know how to meet it back. ✨
