Fall question for the riders out there. 🍂

Do you want your trails leaf blown, or would you rather we leave the leaves?

A: Blown clean. You can see every root and rock, the trail drains better and dries out faster after rain.

B: Leaves on. That classic fall feel, the leaves protect the soil and it’s quieter in the woods, but they hide what’s underneath and get slick when wet.

Our crew spends a lot of hours on the blower this time of year, so we’re curious what you actually prefer. Drop an A or B in the comments, and tell us why if you’ve got an opinion.

A huge thank you to the very large crew we had turn out for our build day. Your assistance and skills were greatly appreciated.
We were able to get the new bridge assembled and rideable today. Still some finish work to be done and clean up, but the worst of it is behind us!
Unfortunately my phone died about a half hour before we finished up. We were able to completely remove the old bridge.

🎬 A BIG MILESTONE FOR MAMBA. A GREAT FILM. A MORE INCLUSIVE TRAIL COMMUNITY. 🚵‍♀️

Join us Tuesday, October 27, at the historic Savoy Theater in downtown Montpelier for a special screening of the award-winning documentary Best Day Ever!

Set in Vermont’s Green Mountains, Best Day Ever follows adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they navigate the challenges of life with a disability and discover freedom, grit, and belonging through mountain biking. It’s an inspiring story about the power of the outdoors and what happens when more people have the opportunity to experience it.

And that message hits close to home.

This summer, MAMBA volunteers and partners wrapped up a major adaptive trail improvement project at North Branch River Park! Together, we widened seven bridges, expanded tight switchbacks, and improved narrow, off-camber trail sections to make the network more accessible for adaptive mountain bikes (aMTBs).

Six years ago, MAMBA built these trails. Today, thanks to an incredible community effort, even more riders can enjoy them. That’s something worth celebrating!

We’re bringing this film to Montpelier to celebrate that milestone, recognize the amazing people who helped make it happen, and keep working toward a future where outdoor recreation is for everyone.

A huge thank-you to our project partners: Black Cat Builders, Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA), Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports, Montpelier Parks, Cabot Creamery, and Onion River Outdoors!

📅 WHEN: Tuesday, October 27, 2026
🕠 DOORS: 5:30 PM | Film starts at 6:00 PM
📍 WHERE: Savoy Theater, 26 Main Street, Montpelier
🎟️ TICKETS: By donation, with a suggested $10–$30 contribution. Proceeds benefit MAMBA!

Seating is limited, so grab your tickets and bring a friend!

👉 Get your tickets here:

Let’s celebrate how far we’ve come, get inspired by what’s possible, and keep making our local trails a place where everyone belongs!
