Namotu: Paradise Found⁠

Sitting about five miles off Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, lies a tiny, six-acre speck of sand and palm trees called Namotu Island. Arguably most well-known for it’s world-class surfing, Namotu equally offers a variety of incredible angling opportunities for yellowfin tuna, dogtooth tuna, GTs along the reefs and an endless array of the most spectacularly colored reef fish you could imagine.⁠

Tropical sun, white sand beaches, crystal-clear water and vibrant coral reefs set the scene as the Pelagic Team spent a week fishing, surfing and diving this remote slice of heaven in the South Pacific.⁠

An evening of meaningful conversation and community at [ the mill ]🎥

Friends gathered to learn more about In the Shadow of Eden, an upcoming documentary exploring faith, wilderness and our shared responsibility to care for the world around us.

The film is currently in pre-production, with plans to begin filming its first chapter in the coming months. We’re grateful they chose [ the mill ] as the setting for such a meaningful gathering.

Not everything needs to be staged. Some of the most impactful shots happen when working with authentic people in their own spaces.

Our owner, @benj_steele, was lucky to catch a bit of that with @patrickgud and his family between takes, while assisting @voegs on a @surfersjournal shoot. An incredible group of people and a publication we’ve always be glad to work alongside.

We had an absolute blast getting to shoot, and stay, at @wayfinderbishop last month!

Bishop holds fond memories for me. I got my first pocket knife 30 some years ago at @macs_sportinggoods (and probably cut my finger before we made it out of the parking lot) and started countless backpacking trips with breakfast next store at Jacks.

It was a treat to get to start building memories here with my family.
