Thank you @voguesg , for talking to me about one of the things I love talking about most. Life! Haha! Caught you there! You thought I was going to say “aging”, right? I talk about aging by talking about living! Living well! As well as possible. While still being human. Meaning there are days you feel like shit, your body’s creaky, your mind’s foggy, your skin saggy and your heart flat. But like everything else, it passes or shifts and at another moment you feel light, you giggle, you get a good idea, you feel thought of and safe, you cant wait for something and the reflection in the mirror makes you smile. You know, reading through my interview, i do have second thoughts about the term “anti-aging”. I guess there is such thing as anti-aging if one defines it as trying not to do anything that speeds up the aging process or trying to maintain what you have that you like and is good for you as you grow older. I mean, I love a good face cream and put it on consistently but it’s more accurate to call that “aging well”. It is a pure privilege to move on, live another day, experience more of life and have more to reflect on. I love how I feel today. I couldnt have this peace without the time and the life that has passed and been lived and learnt. But it aint over, folks! I dont know what’s around the corner but I sure am gonna try to see it with everything i can muster of this 63 year old piece of meat and give it all I’ve got!

I’M A VOGUE TALENT PRIZE 2026 FINALIST!! ❤️🥹

Still slightly in disbelief writing this.

My project, Vessel, has been selected as a Top 30 Finalist for the Vogue Singapore Talent Prize 2026.

Inspired by the human vascular system, “Vessel” explores the intersection of fashion, anatomy, technology, and movement. The concept transforms veins and arteries into living couture, where anatomy becomes art and movement continuously reshapes the silhouette.

This project feels especially meaningful to me because it draws inspiration from a chapter of my life I never expected would find its way back into my work. Before becoming a content creator and creative director, I spent six years studying Medicine to become a doctor. Although my path eventually took me somewhere completely different, my fascination with the human body never left me. “Vessel” became a way of reconnecting those worlds and exploring how fashion, technology, and storytelling can transform ideas from one life into something entirely new.

What began as an imagined response to a future Met Gala theme evolved into one of the most ambitious concepts I’ve ever created, bringing together fashion design, digital storytelling, and emerging creative technologies.

To see it recognised by Vogue Singapore honestly means the world.

Thank you to Vogue Singapore and the judging panel for this recognition, and thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, and believed in my work along the way. This one means a lot 🫶🏼
