Hebrews 12:2 🤍

This past weeks prompt was Joy and abundance☀️ A reminder of the Joy of the lord. A reminder tha Joy is a choice, a matter of attitude that stems from one’s confidence in God, that He is at work, and in full control🤍

For this prompt, I find joy in creation and nature. I wanted to dive deep and getting in creating this scenery piece, showcasing the vibrant colors and beauty of the world. 🎨

Does Your creation know we paint and frame them on a wall
Do they know do they know they’re beautiful
Does Your creation see the beauty of your majesty
and your unrelenting love for everything

It’s one thing to talk about hope…
It’s another to hold onto it.

I’ve been thinking a lot about hope lately.
Not the kind that feels effortlessly bright
and wrapped up with pretty words…
but the kind that meets you when
life doesn’t look the way you imagined it would.

There are moments when I feel helpless.
Disappointed.
Unsure if I’ve somehow caused the mess I’m in.
It’s a strange, tender place…
to keep creating,
to keep showing up…
while quietly wrestling with
the weight of unmet expectations.
And yet… this is where
faith has carried me again and again.

When I don’t know what’s ahead,
I go back to His Word… the light that steadies my steps.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11

“Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.” - Psalm 119:105

“Now hope does not disappoint, because
the love of God has been poured out in our hearts
by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” - Romans 5:5

This kind of hope isn’t about
pretending everything is okay.
It’s about holding on… even with shaky hands…
to the One who never fails.

So if hope feels faint to you right now…
know that you’re not alone.
There’s room for your honest heart in His presence.
And there’s a hope that stays anchored,
even when everything else changes.

↓ Sometimes I have to be…
reminded of the simplest things.

Because lately, I keep catching myself forgetting…
How far I’ve come.
How much God has already done.
That even here, even now, I’m not alone.
Psalm 107:1 reminds me to thank the Lord
for He is good, and His love endures forever.

But when I hold them against the backdrop of my waiting,
they carry so much more weight.
Because honestly? Waiting makes me restless.
I tend to focus on what hasn’t happened yet.
And it blurs my memory of all the ways
God has already provided.

But here’s the truth I’m learning:
Gratitude doesn’t have to wait
till everything makes sense.
And my prayers are finally answered.

Because God’s goodness has already met me
in countless ways I once overlooked.
Every breath in the middle of worry.
Every morning light breaking through the night.
Every slight reminder that His love never fails me.

Giving thanks doesn’t erase the ache of waiting…
but it softens it.
It steadies me in the in-between.
It reminds me that His mercy does endure forever.

So even as I continue to bring Him
the prayers still on my heart…
I want to also bring Him thanks.
For what He has already done.
For His presence that never leaves.
For His grace that carried me this far.

And if you’re in a season of waiting too,
maybe this can be a tiny reminder:
you don’t have to wait until everything unfolds
the way you want to give thanks.
You can whisper it right here,
in the middle of the not-yet.
In the middle of the wondering.

Because God’s goodness doesn’t begin
when the waiting ends.
His love has been here all along,
carrying you through every single day.

↓ Not every season feels like
a victory… but I’ve learned to praise anyway.

I used to think praise came naturally
when life was good.
When my prayers were answered.
When I could see how my story
was unfolding according to plan.
How things were finally making sense.

But some seasons have been heavy.
Some chapters didn’t look
anything like what I prayed for.
Some days I barely had the strength
to whisper anything to God at all.

And yet… looking back, I see it now…
He was still there.
Still guiding.
Still working all things together
for my good, even when I couldn’t see it.

The tears weren’t wasted.
The detours weren’t for nothing.
The waiting wasn’t useless…

Because every single season…
the joyful ones, the confusing ones,
the heartbreaking ones…
has been a place where God met me.
Where He carried me.
Where I’m reminded that
His goodness is never dependent
on my circumstances.

Praise doesn’t always look like loud singing.
Sometimes it’s just choosing to trust.
Sometimes it’s breathing deep
and saying, “God, You’re still worthy.”
Sometimes it’s showing up for
one more day with your heart still open.

I don’t know what season you’re in right now.
Maybe it’s full of light and answered prayers.
Maybe it’s marked by questions and
silent, desperate prayers in the dark.

But here’s what I’ve learned…
We can praise Him in both.
It’s not easy.
And we may not always feel like it.
But we can be sure of this:
He never changes.
His love is steadfast.
His promises still hold true.

So whether your hands are lifted high
or your voice is quivering,
may your heart rest in this:
God’s still here, right now, in this season.

For all that He has done,
and all that He’s about to do in your life….
He’s always worthy of all your praise.
