↓ I wish I turn to God as quickly as…
I turn to overthinking.

When a challenge comes my way,
my mind tends to run wild.
I immediately think about what might happen,
and all the ways things could go wrong.

Before I know it, I’ve spent so much time
worrying about the situation
that I’ve forgotten to bring it to God.

And I don’t want to keep living this way.

I want God’s presence to be so real in my everyday life
that turning to Him becomes second nature.
When something goes wrong,
or plans fall apart,
or when I don’t know what comes next…
I want to remember that I can turn to Jesus.
Right at that moment.

Because prayer isn’t meant to be complicated.
Sometimes, it’s just a simple, ā€œLord Jesus, help me.ā€
Other times, it’s asking Him for wisdom
when I don’t know what to do…
or telling Him that I’m afraid.
It’s choosing to trust Him with a situation
that seems impossible.

I’m reminded of 1 Thessalonians 5:17,
which tells us to pray without ceasing.

I love how this reminds me that
prayer can be part of my everyday.
I can talk to God while I’m figuring something out,
while I’m waiting for an answer,
or while I’m doing the little things in front of me.

I don’t have to put my life on hold
to draw near to Him.
I can just invite Him into the life I’m living right now.

I know I’m still learning this.
There may be days when worry gets the better of me.
But I can always begin again by turning to Him.

Maybe you’re feeling this too…
Maybe there’s something on your mind
that you’ve been carrying all week…
trying to work out the way ahead.

You don’t have to craft a lengthy speech
before you come to God.

Start where you are.
Tell Him what’s on your heart.
Ask for His help…
and let Him meet you in the middle of it all.

Little by little,
may we learn to turn to Jesus first,
trusting that we don’t have to face anything on our own.

↓ I’m learning to stop calling everything…
pure chance.

When I look back on my life,
I can think of many things I once hoped
and prayed for that are now part of
my everyday life.

Things I almost forget to be thankful for
because I’ve grown used to having them.

And yet, there are still things I’m waiting for.
Prayers I’m hoping to see answered.
Dreams I’m still working towards.
Questions I wish I had answers to.

It’s easy to let what’s missing
take up so much space that
I overlook what God has already given me.

But I don’t want to live that way.
Because it’s never luck. It’s always God.

James 1:17 reminds us that
every good and perfect gift
comes from above, from God the Father.

Every good thing I have is a reason to give thanks.
The opportune moments.
The people who encouraged me.
The strength to keep going.
The unexpected moments of joy in ordinary days.
These things are never too small to thank God for.

I may not understand everything He allows in my life,
and I may not have everything I’m hoping for yet.
But I can still recognize His goodness in what I have today.

His grace has always been sufficient for me.
And I want to remember that.
Because I know my hope is
in a God who remains faithful.

So I want to stop spending time measuring my life
against what I wish were different…
And instead notice the little blessings in front of me.

Maybe you can do the same.
Think of three little things you’re thankful for today.

It could just be a conversation that
brightened your mood.
A meal you got to enjoy.
The courage from within to try again.
Or simply the strength to get through a difficult day.
Take a moment to thank God for them.

You can still ask Him for the things on your heart.
You can still hope, dream, and pray for what lies ahead.

But don’t let the waiting keep you
from seeing His goodness right where you are.

There is so much to be grateful for,
even before the next prayer is answered.

↓ Sometimes, my biggest problem is…
where I’m looking.

I spend so much time overthinking what could go wrong…
what I should do next,
how I’m going to fix something…
and how a situation might turn out.

The more I think, I more worried and anxious I get.

But when I turn to Jesus and remember who He is…
peace starts to settle in.

He’s the One who became flesh and came close.
The One who knows all my fears, my questions, my hopes,
and the things I haven’t figured out yet.
He’s the One who has been with me all along.

I remember that I can just choose to look to Him,
and declare my trust Him again.

Romans 10:13 says:
For ā€œwhoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.ā€

And this is so comforting.

I can call on His name.
In the middle of the uncertainty,
the waiting season,
the fears and anxieties...
I can always turn my focus back to Jesus.

And when I do, I’m reminded that He’s
the One I can keep coming back to.

He’s the Word I can hold onto
when my thoughts are racing.

The good Shepherd who knows what I need,
and never leaves me in lack.
The Bread that gives me strength and life
when I’m tired and running on empty.
The Light that fills my void and
guides my way ahead.

The more I remember who He is,
the less room fears and worries can occupy.

Maybe that’s what I need to practice more often:
turning my eyes to Jesus before
my thoughts and feelings take the driver’s seat.

Before I assume the worst.
Or try to work things out by myself.

Before I forget that I can simply call His name…

Whatever you’re carrying today,
I hope you remember that you can do that too.

You can pause.
You can call on Jesus.
And you can trust that
His presence is always with you.

Life can be hard, but God is always good.

Inspired by Psalm 100:5, this joyful faith quote artwork is a reminder that difficult seasons don’t change God’s character. ā€œFor the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures Slide 1: hand-drawn modern christian art with hand-lettering of the encouraging faith quote ā€œall will be well in Jesus’ nameā€ inspired by Bible verse ā€œJohn 14:13-14ā€ in cute doodle style and bubble hand-lettering, mixed-media torn paper collage junk journal aesthetic, with vintage-inspired illustrations of fall leaves, fruit bowl symbolizing supply from the good shepherd, cute lamp with hand-lettering of ā€œlight of the worldā€, Bible with hand-lettering of ā€œthe wordā€, bread on a plate with hand-lettering of phrase ā€œbread of lifeā€, bow taken in Looking to Jesus by @voidtolight

↓ I’m learning to leave room for God…
to change my plans.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the path ahead.
There are things I’m hoping for…
and plans I’m trying to figure out.

 And honestly,
the uncertainty makes me anxious.

I want to know what comes next.
If I’m making the right choices.
And I want to know that the work
I’m putting in will lead somewhere.

But I’m learning that trusting God
often looks like…
me making plans,
doing my best with
the time, gifts, and opportunities I have…
And leaving room for Him
to take me somewhere I don’t expect.

Here’s what I want to remember:
God’s plan is always better.

Isaiah 55:9 reminds us that
God’s ways are higher than ours,
and His thoughts are higher than ours.

I may only see what’s right in front of me.
But God sees the whole picture.

So when a door closes,
I don’t have to treat it as the end.
I can be disappointed.
And take time to process it.
But I can also trust that
I don’t have to force my way forward.

Maybe there are things I’m not ready for.
Or perhaps God’s protecting me from something.
And He could be leading me in a different direction.

I don’t need to figure out which one it is today.
I just want to stay open to His direction.
To pay attention to His promptings.
To be faithful with what I can do now.
To keep moving forward with His flow.

If you’re feeling uncertain about what comes next,
pause and bring those cares to God.
Tell Him what you’re hoping for.
What you’re afraid of losing.
Ask Him to guide your next step,
and give you the courage to follow even when
the path looks different from what you imagined.

You can make plans without placing your trust in them.
Look to God in the process.
You can work hard without thinking everything depends on you.

And you can trust that even a different path
is all part of His wonderful plan.
You can learn to let God lead the way forward.

↓ I say I trust God, but sometimes…
my actions tell a different story.

I find myself doing this more often than I’d like to admit.

I tell God that I trust Him with all things in my life…
yet when something matters so much to me…
I start looking for ways to make it happen on my own.

I plan, research, think ahead,
and try to figure out what I should do next.
And before I know it,
my mind’s already miles ahead of where I am now.

There’s nothing wrong with being intentional
about the things God has entrusted to us.
I believe He wants us to make the most of it.

But I’m learning that there’s a difference
between being faithful with what’s in my hands
and feeling responsible for how everything turns out.

Sometimes, I need to pause and remember…
that God is already present in the things
I’m trying so hard to figure out.

I can bring Him my plans, my ideas,
my little beginnings,
and even the things I’m afraid might not work out.

I can ask Him for His wisdom, take the next step in faith,
and leave room for Him to make a way forward.

That’s what I want my faith to look like.

Psalm 37:5 reminds me to
commit my way to the Lord and trust in Him.

And maybe that’s something I need to keep practicing
in the everyday moments…
especially when I feel tempted to take matters into my own hands.

Because that’s how His peace starts to flow in my life…
by focusing on Him, and giving Him all my cares about the future.

So if you’re also in a season of making plans,
waiting for answers, or wondering how things will come together,
may you find comfort in this:

You can pursue the things that matter to you.
Just involve God in the process.

Let Him be part of the little decisions,
the work-in-progress,
and the ordinary moments in between.

You don’t have to see the whole picture
to take the next step with Him.

↓ Sometimes I need to stop looking at
what’s happening and remember what I know.

I don’t want my situation to
decide what I believe.
Because sometimes life
doesn’t go the way I want it to.

And it doesn’t always
have to be something huge.
Sometimes it’s just a difficult day.
Something I was hoping for that didn’t happen.
A thought that keeps replaying in my mind.

And before I know it…
I start thinking about everything
that could go wrong.
I worry about what I can’t control.

That’s why I always need this reminder:
God is good all the time.

It sounds too simple…
for the tough things life can bring.

But I think that’s exactly why I need it.

Psalm 107:1 says,
ā€œOh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
 For His mercy endures forever.ā€

God’s goodness doesn’t change
depending on how my day is going.
Or what I’m feeling.
Or whether I understand what He’s doing.

God is still good and faithful even when
I’ve taken my eyes off Him.

And He’s still in control when
everything around feels chaotic.

I don’t want to spend my whole life
reacting to what’s happening around me
or in the world.

Rather, I’m coming back to
what God has already said.

His Word says I don’t need to live consumed by fear.
It reminds me that He works all things together
for my good (Romans 8:28).

I can trust God with the things
that don’t seem to be good.

Sometimes that kind of faith
can look almost irrational.

But since when was God’s grace
something to be explained with logic?

I don’t need to understand everything
before I can trust Him.

So when my mind starts spiraling, I want to pause.
Let go of the endless what-ifs.
And ask myself: What does God’s Word say?
Then I want to let that truth have the final word.

Not the news. Or my fears.

God is always good.
He is always faithful.
And I can trust Him with today.

↓ I’ve spent too much time…
trying to solve everything myself.

I know what I do when I’m scared:
I overthink.

I run through every possible outcome.
I try to figure out what I should do next.
I convince myself that if I think about something
long enough… I’ll eventually find the answer.

But honestly, it just leaves me more overwhelmed.

This faith quote says:
Pray and never lose hope.

And I think I need that reminder
more often than I’d like to admit.

Because prayer doesn’t always
look like a long, carefully worded conversation.

Sometimes it’s just:
ā€œGod, I need Your help.ā€
ā€œI don’t know what to do.ā€
ā€œLord, give me Your wisdom.ā€
ā€œLord, make a way for me.ā€

And I think that’s enough to begin.

Romans 12:12 says to rejoice in hope,
be patient in tribulation,
be constant in prayer.

I’ve been thinking about
how these belong together.
When life feels uncertain,
hope gives me something to hold onto.
When things are difficult,
patience reminds me that
I can trust in God’s perfect timing.
And prayer reminds me that
there’s Someone I can seek for help.

And there’s so much comfort in this.

I can bring God the things I’m worried about
without pretending I’m not worried.
I can tell Him what I’m afraid of.
I can ask Him for direction when I feel lost.
I can trust Him with the outcome
without having to know now what the outcome will be.

That might be all faith looks like today.

In whatever I’m facing…
just choosing to turn toward God again.

If you’ve been overwhelmed by something lately,
try this before you spend another hour thinking it through:
Pause.
Tell God what’s on your mind.
Ask for the wisdom you need for today.

I’m learning that hope doesn’t have to come from
knowing how everything will turn out.
It can come from knowing who I’m trusting while I wait.

So I’m choosing prayer over another spiral.
And hope over assuming the worst.

Because I know I don’t have to face it alone.

↓ I’ve had to stop making sense of…
everything that hurts.

I don’t always understand what God is doing.

There are things I’ve gone through that
I wish I could have skipped entirely.

And if I let myself… I could spend
all my time asking why couldn’t
things have been different.

Sometimes life hurts.
Sometimes I wish God had
written my story another way.

But lately, I’ve been thinking that…
even when I don’t understand what
I’m walking through,
I can still remember who walks with me.

The words in this faith-based art are simple:
God is always with you.

Joshua 1:9 says:
Be strong and of good courage;
do not be afraid, nor be dismayed,
for the LORD your God is with you
wherever you go.

This changes the way I look at difficult seasons.

Because my situation may change.
People may leave. Plans may fall apart.
I may still have lingering questions.

But none of those things can
change the reality that I belong to Him.

Through Jesus, I have been brought near to God.
I can pour out my heart to Him.
I can talk to Him when I’m disappointed.
I can ask for help when I’m tired.

And I can remember that His love for me
doesn’t depend on how well my life is going.

That’s something I want to hold onto:
The assurance that I never have to
face anything without God.

So when I find myself dwelling on
what I wish had been different,
I’m choosing to turn my attention
back to what’s always true:

God is always with me.
I am His beloved child.
His love has not changed.
And I can still run to Him.

Maybe that’s what you need
to remember today too.

You can bring all your cares to God
because He cares for you.
And He’s always right there with you
through it all.

↓ I’m realizing that my ambition…
can become an idol too.

There have been seasons when
my mind feels like it’s constantly somewhere else.

Thinking about what I should be doing next.
What I haven’t finished.
What I’m falling behind on.
What I could be doing better.

And even when I’m resting…
part of me is still planning
what needs to happen next.

I know that working hard
isn’t a bad thing.
I want to be diligent with the things
He has placed in my hands.

But I’ve been asking myself lately:
Am I working with God…
or am I working as though
everything depends on me?

Because I think there’s a difference.

I can make plans. I can put in the effort.
But I can’t see the whole road.

And maybe that’s where trust begins.

Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds me,
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

I love that this doesn’t tell me to stay idle.
It reminds me that I don’t have to understand
everything before I take the next step.

So I’m learning to bring my plans to God.
To pray before I get overwhelmed.
To pause before I get to the next thing.
To let Him be part of the process
instead of only asking Him to bless the outcome.

And when the worries come back… as they always seem to
I want to remember that God is
the One holding my future together.

That doesn’t mean I’ll always know what He’s doing.
It doesn’t mean every step will make sense.

But I can work… and yet be restful.
I can do what is in front of me today.
I can give my best without making it the thing I trust.
I can make plans while remaining open to His direction.
And I can leave tomorrow in His hands.

Maybe that’s what I’m trying to learn this season:
to trust the Lord with all my heart.

If you’ve been carrying the pressure
to have everything mapped out too,
I hope you give yourself permission to
take just the next step in faith.
Because the Lord is always with you,
always guiding you.

Are you grappling with a loss? Losing something dear to you is never easy - we all wish some things could just stay permanent. Yet, the only constant in life is change, and while change can be painful, we trust our faithful God to work out all the changes and losses in our life for His glory and our good -

ā€œHe has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.ā€
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Let this verse encourage you today - every broken piece, every huge loss in your life can and will be redeemed by God. Give these things to God and watch as He reshapes and reworks them into the beautiful tapestry of your life.

One day you’ll be able to look at the same broken circumstance, smile, and find peace in the knowledge that God was there, and He still is with you, reconciling and redeeming all things in His perfect plan, according to His perfect timing.

Trust the Lord! He will never fail you.

May the designs by @voidtolight encourage us to remember His His goodness and faithfulness. He is still making your life into His beautiful masterpiece! by @voidtolight

↓ I’m learning that…
faith has to change the way I work.

For a long time, I thought I had to
figure out the right path on my own.
Before God could bless my way forward.

I spent years hopping from one thing to another,
struggling to make sense of
my ā€œcallingā€ or purpose here.

But I’m learning that…
God wants to be with me in the
whole ongoing journey of discovery.

Proverbs 16:3 says,
ā€œCommit to the LORD whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.ā€

Maybe committing my work to God simply means
bringing Him into the messiness of my situation.
Bringing Him the ideas I’m excited about.
The decisions I don’t know how to make.
The things I’m afraid won’t work out.
The desires I’m not even sure are meant for me.

And then, after I’ve prayed, taking the next step I can see,
the step that brings me peace.

I want to learn to work from a place of trust
instead of fear.
To let prayer be part of the process….
And not something I reach for only after
I’ve exhausted myself trying to figure everything out.

When the worrying thoughts come,
I want to practice giving them back to God.

When I feel behind, I want to find comfort in knowing that
His timing is always perfect.

When I can’t see what’s ahead, I want to remember that
I don’t have to see the whole road to take the next step.

Maybe that’s what trusting God looks like for me right now:
Do what’s mine to do.
Give Him what I cannot control.
And keep walking with Him.

I don’t know exactly where this road will lead.
But I don’t need to know everything before I begin.

I can place today in His hands,
and trust Him with what comes after.
