“I really get a kick out of the unexpected. We were having an amazing time @silvertipheliskiing (huge storm right before we arrived, delivering some of the best conditions I have ever had), but then on day 3, our guide rounded a corner and there we stood in front of a large, cave-like opening in the snow. It led down about 20ft into an ice cavern at the front of a glacier. That ice was likely thousands of years old. Naturally, we cut off a chunk to use in our whiskey drinks that evening back at the lodge. It became a highlight of the trip.” 📷: @volcenash ⚔️

My to do list ... Wake up, do some yoga or some stretching, meditate, find gratitude ( especially during these times). Find some courage, reach out, support a friend, support a business, find forgiveness , take a min to breathe and let go. .
How can I help? I’m here!

Looking back at some old photos, I’m reminded how lucky I am to have travelled so much. This was taken in Siberia in 2011 as I travelled on horseback through the Siberian plains in Russia with a local man I had met. ⁣
⁣
His family still lived a nomadic lifestyle off the grid and he was kind enough to let me stay with his family in a traditional yurt tent. ⁣
⁣
They gave us enough wood to keep the tent warm through the night and large oversized animal skin coats to keep us warm outside.⁣
⁣
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be digging up more old photos and sharing them here.⁣ ✌️
