“Made My Night”

It’s hard to explain how I feel about closing out this year’s OWWC. From announcing its return at OWCS World Finals in Stockholm last year, to visiting venues in Busan, to finally bringing it all the way to BlizzCon and seeing the players walk on stage, it’s been absolutely surreal.

They say that if you can visualize something, you can materialize it. I never really believed that until now.

Wanting something isn’t enough. It takes a village (or a Blizzard in our case). It takes sacrifice. And it takes an insane amount of resilience to turn a crazy dream into reality.

To everyone who was part of this program the players, the fans, back of house, front of house, artists, musicians, our families, our friends:

Thank you for dealing with our crazy, believing in what we were building, and helping us make it real.

The team that made this happened is one of a kind, and I am so grateful you all let me be part of it.

A highlight this DragonCon was making and surprising our partners with this Star Trek costume. @irishwastrel gave me the idea about a month ahead of the con and I immediately messaged @sew.angry to be the Deanna to my Beverly. We planned on completely surprising @volpinprops and @whimsydealer. It's definitely a if you know, you know kind of costume, but that's what makes it so good. See their reactions on slide 4. Thanks to @xkirakelly for capturing that video!

Emily and I struggled to find the right fabrics for these ridiculous exercise outfits, but they turned out so good! Mine even needed shoulder pads to be screen accurate. And of course I added those!

Dragon Con photo batch number 2! The amount of people who thought I was Pinocchio is actually insane 😭. Didn’t know I was surrounded by larpers lmao

Thankfully most people knew Usopp so it balances out I think! Also that muscle definition 🫣

Momocon 2026 was an absolute blast!

@nospaceship and I helped out at the repair booth this year and it was a LOT of fun. It was so so rewarding and aspiring!

We also had a blast running around with friends, exploring the dealers hall and playing alllll the games!
