From families, to clubs, to school groups, @Volume1Climbing serves their local community in the Southeast of England by making sure their bouldering centre is a safe space for all children.

"Climbing is fun and challenging; it's like an individual sport and a team sport at the same time" - Danae, young climber

Through the Community Builder project, Volume 1 Climbing plan to make Play Their Way the golden thread across all their processes; clubs, onboarding, training coaches, and giving children opportunities to shape their own sessions 👏

Wooooo this was a SCARYYY one !! Honestly it doesn’t look to bad on camera but it was literally terrifying for me 😂😂I was dreading it but I knew I had to get it , and got it 2 times after …. I always find the moves where you have to commit to holding a jug so so much scarier then if it was a sloppy hold bevahse i am scared of landing on my tummy or neck and a jug would definitely twist you like that if you get it wrong 😂but I was dramatising it a bit in my head it wasn’t toooo bad but definitely not trying it again anytime soon 🙅🏻‍♀️

What happens when I try be a little brave 🙃but seriously I am so close to getting this climb I can get the whole climb and my hand is on the last jug over and over again I’m just not brave enough to close my hand and actually hold the jug for some reason 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂I’ve only worked on it one sesh tho but next sessions I will get it !!

Also my tshirt is from @cragfox.co 👀👀
