First run back since the marathon 🤍 and I couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day or a more meaningful reason to lace up.

Today was all about supporting the Blakelyn Foundation and the strong mamas and papas who have had to experience the unimaginable loss of their sweet littles. 🕊️

A beautiful reminder that running is about so much more than the miles. 🤍

5K for the littles, for their families, and for the love that never ends. ✨

We are beyond grateful to have our friend Dr. Blake and everyone at @volunteer.pt returning as one of the amazing sponsors of the 2026 Blakelyn Foundation Brave Run! 💙

Your continued generosity means so much to us and helps make it possible for the Blakelyn Foundation to provide financial assistance to Tennessee families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.

Thank you, Dr. Blake and the entire Volunteer Physical Therapy team, for believing in our mission and continuing to stand alongside these families. We are so thankful to have you on our team!

Interested in becoming a sponsor of the 2026 Brave Run? We would love to partner with you! Email Jennifer@BlakelynFoundation.org for sponsorship information.

🏃‍♀️ Register today and join us Saturday, August 29, at Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna for a morning of running, remembering, and honoring the babies who will always be part of our stories. 💙

so many late nights, early mornings before training the 5am camp, injury, very discouraging practices that made me want to throw in the towel, and so many frustrated tears - starting from ground 0 on my double unders - progressing to 400 total. giving it my all + leaving it all out on the floating floor for @burnbootcampmurfreesboro || proving to myself that i can do hard things… no matter what!!! thankful for an able body to be able to compete || let’s do this!!

I’m so grateful to have a PT ready to help me when I come in with yet another thing that’s wrong with me. And also shout out to Dr. Blake for being able to keep the energy high. I went to go train for the athlete games and 40 double under in I got the worst headache I’ve ever experienced. Even just doing push ups today triggered it. Trying to keep my head up but man… this is very discouraging.

Coming back from vacation with two different Injuries wasn’t on my list but here we are. Very unfortunate timing with the athlete games being in a month. I haven’t been able to train for the games since the accident. Luckily I have a great pt that is helping me with recovery.

Another week of summer miles! ☀️👟

📍 Tuesday: 3 miles at General Bragg
📍 Saturday: Choose your own distance long run at General Bragg

Stick around after Saturday’s run for our Pelvic Floor + Running Workshop with Volunteer PT, led by Dr. Karly, a pelvic floor physical therapist and fellow runner!

We’ll cover:
🏃‍♀️ How your pelvic floor impacts running performance
💨 Breathing, core, and pressure management
💪 Why leaking with running, lifting, coughing, or sneezing is common—but not normal
❓ Plus plenty of time for questions!

Whether you’re training for your next race or just want to learn more about keeping your body healthy for the long run, we’d love to have you join us.

See you out there! 👟
