Art can make or break a room in my opinion- it can change the balance the mood and the story of a room and I feel so grateful to work on such amazing houses and with such incredible clients that often become more than clients through the process- here is some more from the @houseandgardenuk featured project where we were lucky enough to be able to use some beautiful original artworks from our clients collection as anchors for the new rooms- lucky me! Photography by @paul_massey with thanks as always! Scroll for second image!

The Family tv room of the same project- to brighten a dark, cold and misty morning- there is even a fire- we covered the new sofa in a beautiful vibrant kente fabric from @susandeliss to withstand little children’s paws on this custom feather and downe @davidseyfriedfurniture sofa and added lots of colour and fun to work with the clients existing baby blue ottoman- the most fun part in this house is always hanging the art- thank you again to @houseandgardenuk @interiorseditor @tjedoyle for this wonderful feature in this months gorgeous issue- honoured and thrilled you have chosen to show this project I love working on- thank you @paul_massey for the photos- scroll for second view of this room

The Lord speaks to Jeremiah:
“Before I formed you in the womb
I knew you.
Before you were born I sanctified you.”

Thanks @roomportraitclub @westlandlondonantiques @vsp_interiors @attear for the inspiration

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s panel discussions at Decorex, where our clients shared their thoughts on design identity, property, photography.

@vsp_interiors Henriette von Stockhausen and @studiobraw.ldn Louise McGarry started with Stand Out Style on Monday, diving deeper into the importance of staying true to your self, joined by @christian_bense. On tuesday we saw @worldofeichholtz Edwin van der Gun discussing how considered design helps sell property during Dress to Sell, alongside @roisinlafferty and Rupert des Forges from @knightfrank

Our own Lucinda George joined Irene Gunter of @gunterandco and @marywadsworth1 for The Power of Good Photography. A special thank you to Elspeth from @the_insider_uk for all the brilliant questions.

Hugo Rawlins also took to the stage for a Design Circles session talking all about how to position work for publication and much more.

Thank you to @decorex_international for having us, and to everyone who came along. Until next year.

Patterns clash harmoniously in this Georgian drawing room...

We’re obsessed with Georgian design around here, and for 300 years, so has everyone else! The wallpaper and coffee table speak to worldly travels, while the carpet has a clearly English sensibility, the two grounding the room. Details such as the marble solitaire and the elaborate sculptural candlestick accent it with decadent whimsy.

What is your favourite detail?

Another room from this months House&Garden feature that I have loved working on- weaving in contemporary art into traditional interiors for our young collectors is exciting and fun and sometimes terrifying in equal measures- I adore it it’s a thrill when it works- a huge thank you so much to the whole team @houseandgardenuk @interiorseditor @elisabethjmetcalfe @tjedoyle for featuring it and for the lovely words and @paul_massey - I am honoured and proud to be included!
