Absolutely thrilled to have one of my favourite projects featured in this months print edition of @houseandgardenuk magazine- thank you to @interiorseditor @marco_mansi_ @elisabethjmetcalfe @tjedoyle for the wonderful words ( love the title - Art History!) and the story and the whole team at House&Garden and if course not to forget my amazing clients, their beautiful historic house and the incredibly talented @twig.ltd for collaborating on this drawing room and creating this masterpiece for us! We had so much fun doing this room and indeed the rest of the house- mixing contemporary art with old masters and generally updating what is a very special place- most fabrics are @jaspershowroom who I totally adore!!! - keep an eye out I will post more of the feature on my stories aswell as here. We are currently working on an extension and various other exciting things on this project- Thank you again- really honoured! Scroll for second part of centre page and more!

How many layers make a bed? In this bedroom, five: a floral valance, our Nina bedspread in Raffia with its scalloped edge, a quilted layer turned down, pillows and a striped bolster.

There is something so enduringly beautiful about blue and white china—the infinite variety of pattern, age and provenance, yet somehow it always sits happily together. A little glimpse of what I have been up to and collecting for our latest window at Westland London… together with @bulmer.ed - I chose his Indigo- all curated from objects and beauty found at this magical Aladdin’s cave that is @westlandlondonantiques -my full room will be revealed very soon together with all the special artists and people that have supported us- thank you also to @attear for the beautiful photography!

Homo Faber in Venice — quite simply one of the most extraordinary exhibitions of craftsmanship I have ever seen. A celebration of the human hand, of centuries-old skills, beautiful materials and the incredible artisans who still make things slowly and properly.

For me, this is what true luxury is about — craftsmanship, individuality that can only come from something made by hand. So much inspiration in one place and a wonderful reminder of why these skills need to be cherished and passed on. Completely magical and an absolute must if you are in Venice. Very excited to be taking a little bit of England to Connecticut this November for @roomswithaviewsouthport

This year celebrates the enduring influence of British design — something very close to my heart. For me, the best British interiors are never too perfect: they are layered, collected and comfortable, mixing antiques, beautiful textiles, craftsmanship and things gathered over time.

Everything began with one small piece of 18th century antique embroidered Chinese silk I found on my travels and a story-From that, a whole room has grown- follow along as I reveal all my amazing sponsors and more!!

I’m particularly delighted to be joining fellow Brits @henryprideauxinteriordesign and @haminteriors and really looking forward to our panel with @aspoonfulofbenjamin whonhas just brought out his new book!!! to talk all things British decorating- to top it all off it’s for so many good causes- please look on @roomswithaviewsouthport to find out more and read about its conception and founder Albert Hadley- one of my design heroes!

Very excited to show my initial design idea sketch for the window at the @westlandlondonantiques gallery takeover- a blue and white collection room where I have chosen @edward_bulmer indigo as my backdrop… and two of my most favourite antique items you always find in my projects-verdure tapestries and blue and white china-lots of surprises to come as we unveil further… so proud to be included amongst such brilliant names @darrencjprice @edward_bulmer @marco_mansi_ @alienorcros Thank you to all involved!
