POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Earlier this year Zuzana owner of @balancedbodyobx encouraged me to connect with @___alexandra______________ , founder of @women_in_biz_roswell . So I called, and the rest is history.

Alex started with about 10 women in January. Now, 70 to 80 women may attend each gathering.

But the numbers aren’t what make it special. It’s the community.

Last night’s conversation focused on STAMINA. What does it take to keep succeeding as an entrepreneur without feeling like you have to do the most all the time?

For me, stamina doesn’t mean doing everything yourself. It means knowing when to ask for help and allowing people to help when they offer.

It means realizing you don’t have to prove you can carry everything just because you can.

Whew. That one will preach!

The conversation reminded me how far I’ve come and how much I still have to learn.

In another full-circle moment, I now serve as Director of Nonprofit Partnerships, helping connect @women_in_biz_roswell with nonprofits doing meaningful work in our community.

Last night, we highlighted @starhousefoundation of Roswell with Executive Director Stephanie and Board Chair, my good friend and YaYa, @w.nicholson.

As I stood in that room, I thought about how this journey began:

One conversation.
One introduction.
One decision to walk into a room where I didn’t know everyone.

You never know what can happen when you simply SHOW UP.

Get outside your comfort zone. Attend the event you’d normally skip. Talk to people outside your usual circles. Listen. Learn. Ask questions.

And when someone offers to help, let them.

Networking isn’t just about collecting contacts. It’s about building community, becoming the connection someone else needs, and being willing to receive the connections you need.

Maybe stamina isn’t about how much you can carry.

Maybe it’s learning what you were never meant to carry alone.

“This is a race you can’t hack.” — QuHarrison Terry

Coming from a technologist, that hits a little differently.
We sat down with QuHarrison Terry to talk about what happens when someone who has spent his career exploring technology takes on a challenge technology can’t complete for him.

No shortcut, automation, and NO hack. Just the miles.

And Qu has a LOT of them ahead: 🌎 7 continents, 🏃🏾 7 marathons, 📆 7 days

Want to hear more of the conversation? Follow along to hear from Qu on what he’s doing to prepare. The discipline, identity, mindset, and the technology that it takes to run the world, when there isn’t a shortcut.

One week ago, we made history. 🏁
Atlanta’s first-ever tech-industry community 5K is officially in the books and this is the recap!

Tech Pros. Founders. Engineers. Students. First-time runners. Seasoned runners. They all laced up their running shoes and met at the start line on the Westside BeltLine, building the kind of community we set out to create from day one.

This was our founding year. What comes next is even bigger.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, ran with us, and made this real.

More to come! Stay tuned for more race day moments captured from our Inaugural Tech Race and our 2027 Tech Race date announcement.
