✨ I’m attending!✨

Looking forward to the Chief Atlanta Salon: Voice, Vision & Visibility on October 15th at #AtlantaTechVillage.

An afternoon to connect with inspiring women, get clearer about what’s next, and bring more of who we are to how we lead. These themes feel especially timely as I exploring more about technology, board service, and community impact.

Will I see you there? 💫

Earlier this year Zuzana owner of @balancedbodyobx encouraged me to connect with @___alexandra______________ , founder of @women_in_biz_roswell . So I called, and the rest is history.

Alex started with about 10 women in January. Now, 70 to 80 women may attend each gathering.

But the numbers aren’t what make it special. It’s the community.

Last night’s conversation focused on STAMINA. What does it take to keep succeeding as an entrepreneur without feeling like you have to do the most all the time?

For me, stamina doesn’t mean doing everything yourself. It means knowing when to ask for help and allowing people to help when they offer.

It means realizing you don’t have to prove you can carry everything just because you can.

Whew. That one will preach!

The conversation reminded me how far I’ve come and how much I still have to learn.

In another full-circle moment, I now serve as Director of Nonprofit Partnerships, helping connect @women_in_biz_roswell with nonprofits doing meaningful work in our community.

Last night, we highlighted @starhousefoundation of Roswell with Executive Director Stephanie and Board Chair, my good friend and YaYa, @w.nicholson.

As I stood in that room, I thought about how this journey began:

One conversation.
One introduction.
One decision to walk into a room where I didn’t know everyone.

You never know what can happen when you simply SHOW UP.

Get outside your comfort zone. Attend the event you’d normally skip. Talk to people outside your usual circles. Listen. Learn. Ask questions.

And when someone offers to help, let them.

Networking isn’t just about collecting contacts. It’s about building community, becoming the connection someone else needs, and being willing to receive the connections you need.

Maybe stamina isn’t about how much you can carry.

Maybe it’s learning what you were never meant to carry alone.

Saturday morning well spent ✨

Museum visit with my YaYas, @dees_bestlife , and @corlettecollection (ear artist on display 🎨) at the EmpowerHer Exhibition, which is a powerful celebration of women in art featuring 140+ women artists from Fulton County, GA.

And yes…we showed up in our own Ear Art too 💁🏾‍♀️✨

So inspiring. So much talent. So much creativity. 💫
You definitely need to check it out while it’s still here and don’t miss Corlette’s stunning Ear Art!

It took me a minute to get this post together. The “imitation”@jcpenneyportraits photoshoot was one to remember.

Laughter was endless. Sandra is always SERIOUS about our dress code for our annual holiday photoshoots and brought backup leggings for anyone that did not fall in formation. See the video we were laughing.

We ate, we danced, we laughed. The time together was priceless. It was a reminder that things don’t have to be perfect to gather with friends or loved ones what is most important is the time.

Laughs included them not telling me I had a hair sticking up in our last video, Sandra parking in my driveway because she knew she would be the last to leave and she was, Xiomara claiming her Yaya status and not being a “stray” that just joined the group 😍🤣

We closed out the night with a mini gift exchange. Deloris purchased us all bins for ALL of our Yaya attire and Wendy gave us a beautiful candle and chocolates. A good time was had by all. by @w.nicholson

🍪✨ Run for the Cookies 5K — complete!

Kicked off this beautiful fall Saturday with the Girl Scouts Run for the Cookies 5K along the gorgeous Chattahoochee River. Nothing like crisp air, good vibes, and a strong crew to keep the momentum going!

Ran with my Tech Girls, Michelle and the sweetest mom–daughter duo, Kendra & Kendall. 💚💛 Proud of all of us for showing up, showing out, and supporting a great cause.

Saturdays like this remind me why I love this journey. 🏃🏽‍♀️✨
