big kids night out should be a regular thing

“The ultimate reward is honor, not awards.”

The night before, I was at the Shing02 Luv(sic) Hexalogy gig. Got home close to midnight, charged my phone and made a last minute decision

No carb loading
Zero sleep
Eating on runner's high
Hungry to support

Just me, representing LAST in my own way, for the same cause — F*ck Cancer & help the children and families fighting it

I started running at 3.30am No plan. No expectations. Just my own accord, my own rules, my own ultra.
Slow & Steady, Slow & Purposeful

By 38km, I felt like absolute shit. My stomach was wrecked. Fatigue was kicking in hard. My mind was looking for every excuse to quit.

I wanted to DNF.

But every time that thought surfaced, I reminded myself that the kids battling cancer are going through far worse than what I was feeling in that moment. If they can keep fighting, the least I can do is keep moving.

So I said no.

One step at a time
One mile at a time

I reached Alley Ultra at 48km and shared two rounds with Darrell before having to head home for work. If not for that, I would’ve stayed on to cheer for every runner still running strong every single round

Respect to all the runners, the Bad Habits crew, volunteers and everyone who made this event possible. For many, it was an ultra. For others, it was hope, awareness, and a reminder that nobody fights cancer alone

One Unity
One Love
One Stride
One Movement
One Pain
Together we f*cking fight cancer

I joked about how I'll only do a run with the homies if we end up at a bar. @waffle_monkee found a 5K run event hosted by @santaisingapore. I had to keep my word and do the run lol 😅🔥. I never trained for it and went straight in after a night out and a photoshoot. It was really tough for me towards the end, but @waffle_monkee & @runjitsux were right there pushing and motivating me. They kept me hype and kept the pace. One is in the army doing commando fitness, the other is a dedicated runner training for an ultra marathon. The 3 of us, Bboys forever ⚡. Thank you my Bros. Y'all got me to finish the run. Never thought I would do this. Was a dope experience, and the beers were well deserved! 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️
