Today we drove out to Taganga and took a boat out to a secluded little beach called Playa Sisicuaga. It was so cute and quiet ♥️ and we had the most INCREDIBLE red snapper cooked right on the beach for us (warning for fish prep content if you're queasy). Also met a doggie version of Dobby and caught some spectacular views 😍 #santamarta #Colombia #beach #views #travel

This is my favorite old recipe for flambéed shrimp, passed down to me by my paternal grandmother. No one is here on that side of the family anymore, but I think of them and their legacy every time I lovingly prepare it.

2 years ago, @debora_fdez, @coreydorris and myself ventured to #burningman.

It was one of the most educational and surreal experiences of my adult life. Freedom from the rat race, from branding, from any kind of schedule, was a relief. It washed away most of the pent-up woes projected by this society we find ourselves in.

Tbh, I didn't fully let go, I held onto aspects of my ego, played "mother goose", and drank too much, but it opened me up to a world of beautiful people and talents that are really all around us. If you know where to look.

P. S. It was solid practice for the pandemic
