Dear @eastmeadow_xctf ,

The amount of emotions and memories coming from this team and sport that have shaped me as a person cant be easily described. Having started running in middle school to gain fitness I would be in disbelief if you told me how far I have come and the amount of people I would meet through this team and sport, but there is magic in doing something everyday of the year that others consider punishment. Going through great, hard, and mediocre times with this team can only be remembered as some of the best memories of my life and I couldnt imagine doing anything else with the time I had.

Id like to thank Coach Ring, Mann, Young, Aloni, Sohl, Hunt, My teammates, and Coach Mac🕊️ for supporting and introducing me to the sport I love.

Dear EMTFXC,

It feels hard giving up something that has been a part of my life for almost 6 years. From waking up at 7 am for 8 am practices to competing at meets that lasted till midnight. This sport has made me into a better man and it has helped grow throughout the years. I want to give a big thank you to @eastmeadow_xctf and @thesprintstitute for never giving up on me. Always had faith in me when i didn’t, pushed me when i didn’t feel like being pushed, and putting me in a leadership role when i felt i wasn’t up for it. I soon realized that doing the things you’re not comfortable doing is when a person grows the most. I want to also thank the people i met through this sport. All of you had a huge impact on me while having an impact on others. You guys made doing the sport worthwhile and made me feel at home. Through all the laughs and motivation, I am glad to call most of you guys my close friends. I am left with a heavy heart. I am satisfied with the mark i left on this team. I know I gave it my all after every run, workout, and meet and because of that I am happy. To end this off, I will leave off with a quote. “Stay golden. Keep your standards above and beyond, your focus locked, and your heart set ablaze.”
