Until Saturday 12th July, this dog friendly shopping centre will host a tennis themed giveaway of exclusive Southside-branded tennis balls to mark the return of Wimbledon 2026

A total of 128 tennis balls will be available for guests to claim free of charge from Southside’s new Guest Hub throughout the Wimbledon tournament period, whilst stocks last.
How cool is that!?

To receive a complimentary dog tennis ball, visitors will be required to sign up to the PLUS+ loyalty scheme via the Southside website.

Alongside the tennis ball giveaway, the centre is also running a super cute selfie competition - there’ll be a dedicated dog selfie station, located at the Guest Hub*, to encourage visitors to snap pics of their dogs with their new favourite toy and share on social media with the hashtag #DogsOfSouthside.

Anyone who enters will be in with the chance of winning a £100 gift card to spend at Southside.

Such an awesome place to stay and made even better with their renovated facilities after their multi-million pound makeover!! We love that there is even more to explore than ever before!

We always find the caravans here to be comfortable and of course love that dogs are welcome too!! 🐶

Wow!! 🤩 The fantastic new activities were awesome. Suitable for the whole family, including outdoor experiences and indoor entertainment for rainy days. Keeping kids active and entertained while parents can relax. It was so nice that our doggie could join us on this trip too! 😎

@grow.walkies offers secure fields that you can hire for your dog to run free without any worries of other dogs or people interfering! Was perfect for our reactive dog! 🥰

They even have agility equipment so if your dog likes to explore and play this is fab! 🙌Plus digging areas! The only downside is we did spot a few poos that other owners have sadly not picked up and there is limited shade!

We went to their Epping location but they have lots of locations on offer. 🐾

We’ve been heading to The Plough Pub in Chingford for over two decades now, which is crazy to think!

#Ad As part of the @mcmullens_brewing_pubs chain, it’s always been the perfect spot for our date nights to lazy lunches, catch ups with friends, or a prime spot to aim for after an epic dog walk! So when they recently released a new menu, we took the whole family (including @walkieswithphoenix) to give it a taste test!

Dining with 3 generations, you need a good variety on the menu, and this visit didn’t disappoint. From a mixed grill to kids meals, pies, tarts and burgers, all came out together and were so tasty. They also have a decent drinks selection too as you would expect!

We got bonus points from the kids too as there’s a small playground outside right next to the beer garden so everyone was happy 😊

Schools out for Summer!

#ad With most of us in the UK starting our 6 week summer break from the school run, we all deserve a bit of R&R, and @parkdeanresorts might just be exactly what you’re looking for!

We partnered with @visitessex to bring you along to a staycation at Highfield Grange Holiday Park, a perfect dog friendly place to stay just 5 minutes drive from @clactonpier

The location is great for the beach lovers, but also surrounded by beautiful forest walks which we enjoyed in the evenings with @walkieswithphoenix

At the holiday park there are sooo many activities for families to enjoy. The indoor and outdoor heated pools were a big hit for us, as well as the parks and of course arcades. You can also add on paid activities.

We especially enjoyed trying all the food options on site from the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant, on-site fish and chips shop , @thunderbirdckn and scoops ice-cream. I even got to relax with a beer as no need to drive with everything conveniently close.

On our way home to London, we visited the @Hylandsestate, which gave us a perfect stop off to walk the pup. 🐶
We had the most amazing picnic from @thedelisocial where there is a dog friendly area you can sit. There was also loads of market stalls selling some amazing foods but check out @hylandsestate or @visitessex for more details on what’s on and when.

#ad It’s time to leave London…..and @visitessex.

Come with us as we enjoy a staycation @parkdeanresorts Highfield Grange Holiday Park. A perfect dog friendly place to stay and just a 5 minute drive from @clactonpier.

We visited St Paul’s beach which is dog friendly. 🐕 @walkieswithphoenix was loving life being able to run free and paddle in the sea! 🌊

Back at the holiday park there’s lots of activities for families to enjoy. From the indoor and outdoor heated pools with a water slide that Leonie couldn’t resist. A lovely park and of course arcades, where many 2p’s were slotted!! 😅

You can also add on paid activities. We enjoyed their squishes workshop!

There’s also lots of food options on site from restaurants, fish and chips, @thunderbirdckn and scoops icecream.

On our way home to London, we visited the @Hylandsestate which is just beautiful to walk around. You can grab food from @thedelisocial where there is a dog friendly area you can sit. Often events are running so check in advance.
