Don’t mind us, we’ll just be over here ugly crying the happiest of happy tears 😭😭😭 Snickerdoodle has finally found a foster home with one of our alums, Ollie (fka Basil), and his pawrents!! Swipe 👉🏼 for all the feels.

Thanks to Josh (@k9optima ) and one of our adopters, Darci (@walkstrong_ ), there is life and a light in Snickerdoodle’s eyes that we’ve never seen before 😭😭😭

Snickerdoodle is a different dog. You can see it. You can feel it. She’s not the same dog she was 2 months ago. There’s a quiet confidence and sense of belonging about her.

This is what support looks like. This is why we entrusted her with Josh. From a fearful, shut-down dog to a happy, social girl, Snickerdoodle just needed someone who knew how to listen to and understand her.

And, thanks to Darci, her husband, and Ollie, Snickerdoodle gets to start the next chapter in her story. She and Ollie get along like long-lost friends who were reunited. She’s met the resident kitty and was curious but polite.

We can’t wait to see her continue to blossom with their support. From the bottom of our heart, THANK YOU to Josh for everything you’ve done to help Snickerdoodle and help us understand how to better support her. And, a heartfelt thank you to her new foster family for stepping up and taking a chance at giving her the future she deserves.

We still owe Josh $3820! Please help us pay off our balance and say thank you for everything he’s done and does for dogs in need.

Laugavegur Trail Pt 2 | Day 2 & 3 | Two days of epic hiking with wonderful company.💕Us California girls were much happier with the sunshine. ☀️

My personal highlight of these two days was an optional night hike where a few of us hiked to an incredible canyon. ✨It was such a trip starting a hike at 8pm but having it be bright the entire time.

And I got really good at drawing hearts on the trails with my poles. 🧡🩷

Laugavegur is pure magic!😍
