A first dive into nyc hot spots as told by SPA 💦 it’s been a warm start to summer in New York and only getting hotter. @lorebathingclub is now open to the public while @bathhouse open their latest and greatest on Atlantic Avenue in downtown Brooklyn hosting the @aufgussusa Nationals competition today and tomorrow!

I wrote about doing something that is very important to me for @esquire, and also something that is a big part of Kaplan’s Plot: schvitzing. I think we could all use more sitting in a cramped, dark room with a couple of strangers, just sweating out whatever bad we’ve got inside our bodies. Also, this is another attempt at alerting @criterioncollection or whoever eventually puts out an expanded version of Eastern Promises that there is no better person to write the essay for it.

Grateful for a week of art and music and spa and family.
Grateful to take part in my baby uncle Oberon’s kittenhood and do a day of handiwork at @colortv’s apt.
