haaaaayyyyy 🩶🩶🩶

What a magical moment when the stars align… and the love you’ve poured into the world finds its way back to you through music, memories, and the sweetest embraces. ✨

Kehlani… @kehlani thank you for inviting your fairy godmother and my whole crew into your world. Sharing that stage with you was such a gift. You are a true superstar and a vocal GOAT of your generation… with a heart every bit as beautiful as your voice. Thank you for the love you continue to show me, for pouring into me, and for making sure I feel every drop. I love you so much. 🤍

And then to see one of Moesha’s boyfriends… lol hayyyy JEREMY-@usher URsher!!

Durand @durandbernarr … knowing you came to your first #brandy concert at just 9 years old touched me so deeply.
Sometimes you’re just singing your life… and years later, someone reminds you it became part of theirs. What a beautiful thing to get to know while you’re still here to receive it.

And to share all of this with my beautiful daughter, Sy’rai @syraismith … my heart walking beside me, making a new memory while so many old ones came home. That is the part I’ll hold closest.

dear God, thank You for a life that still finds ways to surprise me… and for moments I wish I could fold up and carry forever.

I’m on cloud 9… somebody pinch me.🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶

🎁 ·HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BEYONCÉ!· 🎁

Beyoncé’s B’Day is a vibrant, confident burst of R&B, pop, funk and hip-hop, packed with attitude and personality. Recorded remarkably quickly, it feels energetic rather than rushed, with live instrumentation adding extra punch. At its heart is “Irreplaceable,” a beautifully restrained breakup anthem that balances vulnerability with empowerment. Its acoustic guitar, instantly memorable hook and conversational delivery provide a perfect contrast to the album’s harder-edged moments. A hugely enjoyable, influential record that captures Beyoncé at a pivotal point in her evolution.

IT’S HERE. 🐝

Twenty years to the day. B’Day turned 20, Beyoncé turned 45, and she opened the vault to mark it. 31 tracks digital, four LPs on Bayou Blue vinyl if you’re a Honey Bee she didn’t just repackage it, She added to it.

Cuerpo (Tumbao)” with Maluma flips “Get Me Bodied” over a Celia Cruz sample. She used a queen to honor a queen.

“Irreemplazable (Como La Flor)” with Selena. Her estate approved it. Two Texas women, two generations, one record. Sit down before you play it.

“Can I Watch You” with Pharrell is the actual new one. No leak, no snippet, nothing. Produced by Beyoncé and Pharrell, whose run together goes all the way back to “Work It Out” in 2002.

A lot of outlets are calling “My First Time” unreleased. It’s not. It dropped April 26, 2004, on the bonus CD inside the Live at Wembley DVD. Recorded during the Dangerously in Love sessions, left off the album, written by Beyoncé, Pharrell and Chad Hugo, produced by The Neptunes. Some of you have had that record since high school. It’s not new. It’s just finally somewhere it can be found.

Same with “Lost Yo Mind,” “Creole,” “Back Up,” “Welcome to Hollywood,” “Morning Dew (Donk),” “Amor Gitano,” “Oye,” “Bello Embustero.” Songs that lived on international pressings and in bootleg folders for twenty years. Now credited. Now streaming. Now permanent.

She said back then she wanted this album big, percussive, hard, up-tempo, live instrumentation. Said hip-hop was taking over and she was fighting to keep the bridges and the harmonies that R&B was built on, and to blend both worlds through sampling.

She said that in 2006. We’re still living in it in 2026.

Happy birthday, Beyoncé.
Twenty years ago you spent yours in the studio and gave
us B’Day. That celebration was the work, and the work was the gift.

This page exists because that kind of devotion deserves to be written down properly. Documented. Preserved. Not just enjoyed and forgotten.

Thank you for twenty years of giving us something worth keeping. From BeyGalore and every Honey Hive Historian 🐝

#FBF 20 years ago today, Beyoncé her second album released💽“B’Day” on September 4th, 2006 by Columbia Records, Music World Entertainment, and Sony Urban Music. The album was recorded in April 2006 and produced by Beyoncé’s alongside Darkchild, Nellee Hooper, NE-YO, Stargate, and Swizz Beatz, among others. The album features guest two appearances from Beyoncé’s then husband Jaÿ-Z; the deluxe and international editions include include Bun B (of UGK), Slim Thug, Shakira, and Alejandro Fernández.

Originally scheduled for release in 2004, B’Day was planned as a follow-up to Beyonce’s solo debut Dangerously in Love (2003). However, it was delayed to accommodate the recording of Destiny’s Child’s final studio album Destiny Fulfilled (2004) and Beyoncé’s starring role in the film Dreamgirls (2006). Most of the album’s lyrical content was inspired by Beyoncé’s role in the film, with musical styles ranging from 1970s—1980s funk influences and balladry to urban contemporary elements such as hip hop, pop, and R&B. The album reached number one on both the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in Canada, Taiwan, and the United States while reaching the top five in Germany, Greece, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. B’Day has been certified multi-platinum in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Russia, and the United States. As of 2013, it has sold over 8 million copies worldwide. #BDay20 #Bday20thAnniversary
