Listen up taco w****s, big news, HUGE…

We’re closing our doors on December 19th.

We’ve absolutely loved our time in this little old shed, but it’s time to move on.

The last two and a half years have been nothing short of epic. Supper clubs, Christmas parties, over thirty different menus and a community of regulars a gal could only dream of.

This isn’t the end of TACOR, just the end of this chapter. I don’t know exactly what the next chapter of TACOR looks like yet, but I know this isn’t the end of the story. I’m a firm believer that when you have the courage to close one door, especially a really big one, you’re rewarded with many more opening and there are already some very exciting conversations bubbling away 👀

But for now, this isn’t a time for commiserations, it’s a time for congratulations. What we’ve achieved here has been nothing short of amazing.

Two and a half years ago, I felt embarrassed when people called me a chef or referred to TACOR as a restaurant. Today, I wear both labels with pride. And whilst I’ll undoubtedly be sad when I close that door for the last time, sad doesn’t mean wrong.

You lot have been so much more than customers. Some of you have become family, and the community we’ve built here has been truly magical. It’s something I’ll never forget.

And to everyone who’s been part of the TACOR team, past and present — thank you. For the graft, the laughs, the chaos and for caring about this little shed as much as I do. I’m so bloody proud of what we’ve created together.

So thank you, all of you, for making this little shed something really bloody special.

We’ve got two months left to go out with a BANG. Come and help us make these last months of slingin’ the best yet!

How do we even begin to sum up our final week at Wyken? 🥹🧡

Honestly, it was beyond words.

Our final week at Wyken was everything we could have hoped for and somehow a whole lot more.

We sauna-ed in the rain, we moved, stretched, sauna-ed and plunged together. We gathered under the Full Moon, we turned up the heat for our first fiery sauna ritual and we spent one final evening around the fire pit.

And honestly… you lot SHOWED UP. 🥹

So many familiar faces, so many new ones, so many of you coming down to share one last sauna with us at Wyken.

It’s pretty hard to put into words what that felt like.

What started as our little orange wood-fired sauna popping up once a month somehow became this wonderful place to slow down, get outside, plunge into cold water, try something new and meet some really lovely people along the way. This final week reminded us just how special that has become.

So thank you. 🧡

To everyone who sauna-ed with us, plunged with us, sat around the fire with us, told your friends, brought them along and came back time and time again… You made this place what it was.

Thank you, Wyken. You were pretty special. 🧡

And now our little orange sauna is roaming just down the road to Larkwood Lakes, West Stow, near Bury St Edmunds ready for its next chapter of wood-fired sauna, cold plunges, lake swimming and plenty more adventures to come. 🌿🔥

Last week we hosted our first Suffolk Story event at @wykenvineyards. We welcomed over 80 people for a cocktail reception hosted by @edmunds_uk, followed by a four course dinner in Wykens Leaping Hare restaurant, with courses from @woostersbakery, @tacor_taqueria, @thesuffolkaldeburgh and @wykenvineyards

I don't think I've organised an event like this since my wedding, and it was amazing to bring so many places together from the book, get so many people together who share a love for food and drink and all just enjoy a summers evening in an amazing setting.

The night was exactly what the book is about, bringing people together over a love of great food and drink, and shouting about the brilliant businesses we have in Suffolk that do just that.

We kicked things off in Wykens beautiful gardens with our cocktail reception before heading into the restaurant for a feasting style dinner. It was lovely to see people making new friends, enjoying chatting all things food and drink, and just having a good time.

A massive thank you to all the businesses involved, everybody that came along and to Sam at Wyken for letting us do our thing.

A special mention to Andy and Sam at @anagram_audio
Who put my little speaker to shame with an amazing set-up music wise.

And @fenfarmdairy who provided what might be the world's best butter to go with Wooster's delicious bread.

Hannah is busy working away on some more content that we can't wait to share from the evening, and we're busy planning some really exciting future events.

A shout-out to Hannah as well who whilst I sat and enjoyed the food and drink with everyone, Hannah was busy capturing some behind the scenes shots in the kitchen and working away to capture the evening.

When Adam and I first started working on Suffolk Story, conversations during shoots, long drives and end-of-day pints always seemed to drift back to the same thing: how food has a way of bringing people together. So it felt only right that Suffolk Story eventually made its way from the page to the table.

On the 6th of August, we’ll be gathering some of our favourite chefs and suppliers for our first Suffolk Story supper-club-style evening, hosted at Wyken Vineyards by The Leaping Hare.

Think long communal tables, a 400-year-old barn, shared stories and a beautiful summer menu.

We want to thank everyone who supported Set & Scene 2026 on the day, across guest management, room coordination, speaker support, registration, production coordination and overall event delivery. Your professionalism, energy and calmness under pressure made a real difference and helped everything run so smoothly.

At the centre of it all was a core group who shaped the event together from the very beginning: our co-founders Bimla Jackson, Yosien Burke and Murray Ashton, with the support of Hannah Gregory (Exhibition & Production Manager), Kirsten Farley (Speaker Coordinator) and Bonnie Poole (Strategic Marketing & PR Lead) and Olivia Peers (Events Co-ordinator). Together, they formed the engine of Set & Scene, bringing the event to life through shared commitment, problem-solving and a genuine belief in the project.

A special thank you to Aaron Rozanski, the team at Industria Studios, and Ula Blocksage for capturing the event so thoughtfully. The photography and film genuinely reflect the atmosphere of the day - the energy, the detail, and the people who made it what it was.

Thank you as well to Joe Craig and the team at Central Saint Martins for hosting us and supporting the event throughout.

Seeing over 800 people come together for the first Set & Scene was a real moment for all of us. More than anything, it was the conversations, generosity and openness across the day that stayed with us.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Set & Scene 2026 happen. We’re proud of what we built together, and we’re excited for what comes next.

Time for another shout-out to all the amazing businesses in the book. We can't wait to celebrate with everybody in a few weeks time.

Seeing such a collection of brilliant stories, from such an amazing list of people, come together over the last 12 months has been an unforgettable experience and such a privilege to be able bring it all to life.
