Happy solstice ☀️

Historically I’ve always struggled with this day. It seemed odd to me that people would celebrate the beginning of the cold and the darkness. That they seem to cheer at a date that marks leaving the length of light behind them. I used to greet it with anxiety and sadness as I knew for me this meant the start of the hard bit, the beginning of the brace.
I am so grateful that in the last year especially I have been on a journey to both widen and streamline my circle. Curating those around me that lift me up and have shown me different ways of living and thinking. People who challenge narratives and perspectives. Teachers, soul sisters, wise women. With their guidance and my further understanding of self I have realised it’s not about shying away from what’s coming but rather understanding that every chapter and season is given to us for a purpose. A lesson, a time to reflect or project, a space to rest or energise. Nothing is without purpose and it’s all a gift when we choose to see it that way. Even the most painful chapters and the darkest seasons.
Surround yourself with beautiful people, push yourself to understand your why, learn more, widen horizons, look at other people’s perspective, absorb their knowledge. Challenge yourself everyday and the longest, darkest nights become instantly brighter.

@fondarestaurant no notes.
Future eats of 2026 got some hella big shoes to fill.

The most incredible meal, the most incredible space, the most incredible service, the most incredible vibe. And such good value for money.
I cannot wait to return. Probably in the next couple of weeks because this is my new obsession.

P.S. have you SEEN that comal? 🥵

Closed out 2025 with pup cuddles, kicked off 2026 with pup cuddles. Not sure Goose was thrilled by either.

POV you really miss your old job so just decide to make it part of your new job and bring along the best build manager and event director to boot 💗🎄🧡

But seriously, anyone got any creative projects they need doing because I am drying up over here.

@ziaryoga reminded me that two years ago today we were in Palm Springs having a hooley @trixiemotel which reminded me that I never posted about it which reminded me I’m an idiot because I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so fun. Or been so hungover.

This week we hosted our Farewell to summer supper club to say goodbye to sunny season and hello to longer nights and welcome in our cosy restaurant space which means our booking system is back on!

We dined on crispy flautas and crunchy tostadas, zingy ceviche and sumptuous tacos, billowy pavlovas and boozy sorbets. Five courses (plus snacks and treats) of pure joy.
Of course, no photos of the table dressings and average at best photos of the food but she was a beautiful night.
If you’d like info on the next one, slide into my DMs or email hannah@tacor.co.uk and until then, make the most of our glorious little shed by hitting the booking link in bio.

A Brazilian inspired affair that was so much fun I only got photos of flowers and clams. There was a lot more.
How beautiful are the flowers tho??? @theflowerhutflorist

A spring supper posted two months late because life has been CRAZY lately.
We ate, we drank, we laughed, I don’t think we cried but I could be mistaken.
The most gorgeous evening with the most gorgeous people.
Time for another one I think.
