@uplifted_gym 2x body weight for 5 is for reps right????? 👀👀👀👀 15@225 got me seeing stars and swear I counted 20 in my head but that’s why I don’t do more than 5 normally I run outta fingers to count let’s see you guys get at it

✨ Cheers to 2025! What a year for Uplifted Gym! ✨

2025 was truly one for the books, and we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for every single person who walked through our doors, supported us, trained with us, and believed in what we’re building.

This year, we took a massive leap growing 3x our size from a 6,000 sq ft space to an 18,000 sq ft home. 🏋️‍♀️

That growth meant more room, more equipment, more opportunities, and more ways to serve EVERY type of athlete. From expanded strength training and conditioning areas to new machines, turf, and thousands of pounds (and kilos) of added weight, everything we added was to better support YOU! 🫵🏼

But more than the equipment, 2025 reminded us what truly matters: COMMUNITY.

We came together to support a young man battling cancer, and we also brought together some of the biggest names in the industry to come out and support our grand opening.

Moments like these showed us exactly why Uplifted is more than just a gym, it’s a FAMILY. 🤝🏼

Thank you to our members, trainers, supporters, and friends for making this year possible. None of this happens without you.

Last week of my high volume phase. Building up work capacity is crucial in the sport of strongman. I know it’s not as fun as 1-3 rep maxing but it’s mandatory! Don’t skip out on this step if you’re any type of strength athlete. Some of my top PR’s that I’m proud of from this phase:

Deadlift 500x8 RPE 7
High Incline Close Grip Press 275x6
Strict Pendlay Row 255x8
Trap Bar Deadlift 600x5
RDL 405x8
Farmers Carry 50ft w/ 275
Yoke Run 50ft w/ 600, THEN very last lift was a 1000 pound yoke hold for 5 sec!!

It was a great phase and we are going to just build up from here.
