Cool autumn mornings call for fresh ground coffee ☕️, rich merino yarn, and taking in the beautiful colors of the leaves in the backyard 🍂✨

Currently working with some gorgeous Malabrigo yarn to finish up a batch of cozy toques! Some of these beauties will be heading out for deliveries to local shops next week, while others are being prepped to stock up for upcoming markets.

You know how much I love a scrappy hat! This one is the Cold Snap beanie from @thethoughtfulartisan and I love it! It looks intentional and unique.

Just listed in my Etsy shop, it’s an adult M/L size I would say (22-23”). Shipping to the US from Etsy is disabled at the moment, but if you’re in the US and NEED it, send me a message and I can figure it out haha 💙🩵💚🩵💙

One of the Christmas markets I’ve been doing for years is outdoors at a film studio backlot where they film Hallmark movies. It’s beautifully decorated up for Christmas, and it’s a magical holiday experience for the whole family.

Last year I had a booth there for 31 days. Lesson learned for this old gal … I only signed up for 12 days this year! 😆

All of us vendors are in a huge tent, but it can get very cold and damp outside at night for the visitors. It’s amazing how many people forget or can’t find their kids’ mittens, and I’m always getting asked if I have any … and I never have enough! So I’m trying to stock up this year so I don’t run out again!

I made these 3 child, toddler, and baby sizes out of one skein of @malabrigoyarn Rasta, so if I just knit up about 10 or 20 more skeins I may have enough! 😂 😂 The colour is “Daydream,” a @warehouse.2020 exclusive colour! 🤩

I find mitten making a bit finicky … I think it’s adding the thumbs and weaving in all the ends that’s a pain … although those baby mittens were pretty quick and easy without the thumbs! 😂 👍

Two more toques headed to @fernieartscoop this afternoon. The Carbonated Beanie pattern by Jamie Rex at North Road Knits showcases the gorgeous variations in this 100% merino wool by @malabrigoyarn in Pisces & Baya Electrica so nicely. My Big Brim Hat is so soft, cozy, and luxurious in its simplicity; also made with merino wool by Malabrigo, this time in Belgian Chocolate. I purchase all my merino wool and pompoms from Jessica and Jared @warehouse.2020 in Chilliwack, BC and my faux leather tags are all made by @brickbubble in northern Alberta. I'll be at the Co-op this afternoon. Come by and say hi! ☺️
