White Wednesday this year started with a 6 hours whiteout dust storm that got us extremely worried that we would have to move the date. The playa provided and cleared the dust just in time for the wedding. We rode out on our 🚲 as a camp and was met by all our different playa friends at our chosen art piece, "The Seed of Dreams." We chose this art piece because you can climb into the head of the structure and write your dreams in a big book.

It has been a dream come true to celebrate at the place we deemed to be overflowing with more love and human kindness than anywhere else in the world. What makes this even sweeter was that this was absolutely 100% us - no interference or opinions from friends or family members on how this wedding should be like our default world one. It was also perfect that it just so happened the theme this year was "waking dreams."

Wedding Itinerary:
♡ Gifted Sound Bath @alchemystikhealing
♡ Walked down the aisle by our Village Wizard, @warpfactorfour, and Fingerlights Camp Founder, @easynerdy
♡ Our officiant @jayvill87 sang the song "She's Your Queen To Be" from the movie "Coming to America" as I walked down the aisle
♡ We did a Unity Sand Ceremony by pouring playa dust into a beautifully decorated glass jar
♡ A huge galaxy hug is done with all our playa friends, family, and participants who came to watch
♡ My friend, @drifter.knight learned Sanskrit on a guitar so that we could sing with all our wedding guests, "Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu," which means "May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
♡ My bridesmaids distributed our wedding gifts which were gold or silver holographic heart necklaces that said I Love You in 100 different languages when you shined the ball in the light + our secret gift 😉
♡ Our fam @dj_tpart kicked off a dance party on the spot
♡ Afterparty: Carl Cox at Opulent Temple, Playa Alchemist, Mayan Warriors, Robot Heart

Quite possibly the best thing I did all year and the best wedding I've ever attended! As I look back this year, it makes me cry happy tears and makes my heart melt to know that I have found the best tribe a girl can ever ask for. This year solidified that this family are people I know are going to stay in my life forever. "The once in a lifetime kind of people, the drop everything, call in the middle of the night, always there for you no matter what people. The ones that stick by your side, believe in you, and help you remember who you really are." They light me up from inside out and encourage me to keep growing. My soul truly feels at home with them and I love them fiercely. Thanks to all of you for taking the time and effort to take care of each other's souls, and especially mines & Jay's in this tumultuous year. My heart is so full! The goal is to move mountains for them however I am able. I LOVE YOU, and hope the new year brings everyone immense love, light, and success! 💫❤️‍🔥🙏

The year fades. The light of his sabers dim. Was he just a memory? The histories spoke of an agent of chaos, ruined dreams, aggressive to all. But most of all, remember the hopeful warrior, the man we called Acetylene. To understand who he was we have to go back to the other time, to a world covered in black fuel and violent cities of grime and sorrow— gone now, swept away. The Republic was crumbling.
During this time it was a white-line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The Empire took over the galaxy, ready to wage war for absolute control, and on the edge of their rule, hopeful men were battered and smashed — men like Acetylene, the failed Jedi Acetylene. In light of a blood red saber, he lost everything and became a shell of a man, a burnt-out desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again.
