POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Story time:: It’s a tear jerker, but raw & real.

I wasn’t going to come to SS this year. I’m a single Mom of 3, busting my butt, with practically zero help from their dads and barely making ends meet. The tickets were released and I didn’t even think and ordered a Golden Ticket. It felt like I needed to be there, but I didn’t want to make that jump, but I did. Right after I ordered my ticket, I instantly panicked… why would I do that?! That’s money that could have went to bills and it was on the last day of school for the kids. I couldn’t leave the first day of summer and not take them. I couldn’t. The mom in me could not do that. I told myself if they released more tickets, I’d get one for my son. And guess what? They did. So I got him a ticket.

This was a lot of money. This wasn’t planned. But guess what? I made it happen.

While most people might think it’s not a big deal. It is a big freaken deal and this is why…

I went from being in the most toxic/controlling/abusive relationship to attempting suicide. I moved across the state for a guy giving everything up everything + everyone I loved because I thought he was the “one” which turned into a complete nightmare. I lost custody of my youngest on my own actions mixed in with lies sprinkled by my ex.

I thought there was no hope.

I thought I couldn’t escape.

I thought that was the easy route out.

I thought WRONG.

As soon as I left the hospital, I instantly took my life back over. I jumped into @andyfrisella #75hard , I got into the legionnaire program with @1stphorm and I met some of the best people I’ve ever met in my life.

**currently sobbing writing this in the bathroom**

I don’t have my life figured out, but let’s be real, who does?! The past two years I’ve been building my life from the ground up, I’ve been showing my kids that anything is possible with determination and surrounding yourself with the right people. Who you surround yourself with DOES matter.

So when you see these pictures, they might just look like pictures but this is so much more.

If you’re still reading this, don’t give up. Don’t stop pushing yourself. You are enough. You are loved. Your story isn’t done. #1stphorm #1P
