🇺🇸 Happy Fourth, everyone!

Today we're thinking about everyone who spends holidays away from their own families so they can be there for ours.

Thank you to the paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, dispatchers, nurses, physicians, law enforcement, and all first responders who answer the call every day.

And thank you to everyone who has supported Into the Unknown. We couldn't have made this film without you.

Our Kickstarter Pledge Manager surveys are now live! If you backed the project, please check your email from Kickstarter, complete your survey, confirm your information, and select your t-shirt size if your reward includes one.

There's still a little time to add merchandise, upgrade your reward, or become a new backer through the Pledge Manager if you missed the campaign.

The link is in our bio.

Have a safe Fourth of July, and thanks again for helping us bring this story to audiences.

Meet Amanda and Sonny at the 911 dispatch with the Charlottesville UVA Albemarle County Emergency Communications Center.

Dispatchers are the first First Responders you encounter in an emergency. Their job is to remain calm and do their best to keep you focused under the intense pressure of a crisis.

You’ll get to know Amanda, Sonny, and more of their team better in the full film.

Today CARS hosted a prehospital point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) course for regional EMS providers. Providers from @albemarlefire @charlottesville_fire @warsrescue5 @wheatonrescue2 and @uvahealth were present to scan and learn!

Prehospital POCUS is a game changer for a number or clinical situations, particularly management of shock states, traumatic injuries, difficulty breathing, and cardiac arrest. For that reason, courses like this are important to continue equipping EMS providers with the best tools possible.

Thanks to every who attended, we hope to do it again sometime! Huge thanks to @butterflynetwork for supply us with more probes for the class!
