PS261 was an experiment in community and a test to see what happens when creatives have access to not only space and gear but to one another.
It was very much a choose your own adventure program but from the feedback we’ve gotten we’d label this first go round a success!
Thank you for PS261 for helping us cultivate community that is not based on transactions but genuine love for one another. Watching relationships form and collaborations go down without the oversight from us was extremely fulfilling and we hope the foundation you all have laid and energy you’ve brought continues with the coming residencies.
Obviously this isn’t everything that went down but looking back at the past 6 months gives us some reassurance that this is something people want and need.
Can’t stress this enough but we’re here to help however we can and are excited to see what the future holds.

Love you all 🖤

SCENE 4: I kept having a vision of using horses in my first video. I grew up riding them, loving them and admiring their strength and mysticism - when the amazing @lavoixindigo offered to let us use her precious babies, I was ecstatic!! So honored to have spent some time with them for this.

UNLEASH ME 🪽

Tomorrow this song belongs to you!! AHHHHH

I am so extremely proud of this one… took a lot of leaps of faith to bring it to life and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Unleash Me is a reclamation of the parts of myself I once thought I should make smaller, quieter, and more palatable. It’s a song about fully embracing how fucking epic it is to be capable of loving so deeply ❤️‍🔥

This song would not be what it is without my insanely talented collaborators:

@sunburysounds | Producer, Mix Engineer, Sound Wizard

@mosesmastering | Mastering Engineer

@wavesbby___ | Videography

@kristaripma | Direction

@madalyn__mahoney | Assistant

I’m beyond blessed to do what I love with people who are so incredibly gifted at their crafts. Thank you all so much for the time, energy and love you’ve put into this song 🫶🏼

BTS OF SCENE 3: I’ve had a vision of @kirakv and @poetlyon dancing to one of my songs for so so long that this is the only scene that truly brought tears to my eyes- I admire their movement style and their kindness as humans so much that it really meant the WORLD to me to have them on set that day 🦋 you can catch them in the world premier of my contemporary ballet NEXT SPRNG ✨

This was the biggest photoshoot I’ve ever done. The old me would have spent the entire shoot in her head.

But you know what gave me the biggest chills as I looked through the proofs?

It was that during that shoot my biggest focus…

❤️‍🔥 was having the time of my life ❤️‍🔥

Yes there was:

Weeks of planning.
Moodboards.
Shot lists.
Creative direction.
Multiple looks.
An entire vision brought to life.

That’s what the Muse is.

Not an aesthetic.
Not a perfectly curated version of yourself.
Not your mentor
Not some goddess you create an altar for.

The Muse is life force.
It’s the part of you that comes alive when you’re no longer monitoring every move.
When you’re no longer performing.
When you’re no longer trying to get it “right.”

The Muse lives in expression.
In movement.
In creativity.
In truth.
In beauty.
In inhabiting yourself so fully that your essence starts spilling out into everything you touch.

For years, women have been taught to become more self-conscious.
More aware of how they’re perceived.

The Muse asks something different.

She asks:
What if you stopped watching yourself...
and started experiencing yourself?

❤️‍🔥 If you’ve been feeling the pull toward Embodying Your Muse...

Trust it.
Trust the part of you that craves more expression.
More aliveness.
More beauty.
More of YOU.

Embodying Your Muse starts Monday

Comment MUSE + I’ll send you the link

And @wavesbby___ … I’m so proud of what we created together 🦋
