I help fix the root cause of poor health not symptoms - insulin resistance, better markers real results 💪

YERBA MATE — MORE THAN JUST A TEA I’ve been looking into Yerba Mate and the research around its potential role in metabolic health — and there’s some really interesting science emerging.

Yerba Mate naturally contains:

• Chlorogenic acids
• Polyphenols
• Caffeine
• Theobromine
• Saponins

Research is particularly interesting around glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity.

A recent systematic review of randomised controlled trials found potential improvements in post-meal blood glucose, HbA1c and markers of insulin resistance, particularly in people with prediabetes.

But here’s the important bit…

The evidence doesn’t show that Yerba Mate is a magic weight-loss solution.

Instead, researchers are investigating whether it can support the processes involved in metabolic health, energy metabolism and body composition.

So why am I interested in Unimate?

Each stickpack contains 3 g of concentrated green Yerba Mate leaf extract.

Unicity uses a process involving:

Handpicked → Roasted → Extracted → Concentrated → Purified

Unicity states that its process can produce an extract containing up to 375× more chlorogenic acids than commercially available Yerba Mate drinks.

That’s a manufacturer claim rather than an independent clinical finding, but it certainly makes the formulation interesting.

For me, it’s less about looking for a “fat burner” and more about asking:

What are the foods, drinks and compounds we’re consuming actually doing inside our bodies?

Yerba Mate is definitely one worth investigating.

Energy. Focus. Plant compounds. Metabolic health.

And I’m only just scratching the surface of the research.
