🌱 Oakwood Elementary just got a HUGE upgrade to its Outdoor Learning Center! 🌱 We’re incredibly proud and excited to have played even a small piece of the puzzle in bringing this amazing community project to life! 🙌 Outdoor learning spaces create opportunities for students to explore, learn, collaborate, and connect with nature — and we’re honored to help build environments that will be enjoyed for years to come. 🌿📚 Projects like this are a great reminder of why we love what we do: building spaces that make a difference in our communities. A huge thank-you to everyone involved in making this vision a reality! 👏 📞 Ready to transform your outdoor environment? PROGRESS! @dorindesignllc spent the last week bringing our Outdoor Learning Center back to life. A new limestone boulder slab seating space within the gazebo was installed, sponsored by the @wayzataedfund through their grant program. The picnic table area is being revitalized with accessible pathways widening the space. Stay tuned for the big reveal 🌾🌳🌲🦉

BEFORE. Gleason Lake Elementary had an outdoor learning center that was constructed over 25 years ago. Built through funding from parents and the community, its maintenance falls under our Parent-Teacher Organization. Throughout the past year, we’ve sought out funding through our major fall fundraiser and the Wayzata Education Fund (@wayzataedfund ). We’ve been working all summer to restore this space and make it what it was intended to be; a beautiful space outdoors for students and teachers to learn and grow together. Stay tuned for more. 🌲🌳🌾🦉 #wayzataeducationfund #dorindesign
