Teacher Leaders, Emily Wisniewski, Kelly Virgin, and WCWP Director, Pauline Schmidt spent a year researching and reflecting on WRITING ZONES - a 15 year partnership between WCU and Kennett High School. Thankful for the support of a CESW Research Grant, the work culminated in a short article, linked at the end of the blog post. We will also be sharing our findings at NCTE this November! https://wcwpblog.org/2026/06/26/research-and-reflections-on-building-a-high-school-writing-center/
