How do you hold on to your faith despite evidence to the contrary? Do you trust the Prophet? Do you listen to the council of our apostles and leaders and continue to move forward in faith towards the second coming? Or do you trust in your own wisdom? I guess it depends on what they're asking! That's what I've noticed. I really struggle with some of their counsel and have to pray to soften my own heart. I have to talk it through with my husband to be ready for that council. It isn't always easy, is it.

This all started with What did you talk about at church today? and my son shrugged and said he didn't remember, probably Isaiah. And my response was- don't you know that Isaiah was the Bruno of his day. And so began creating this song. It took a week of obsession and help from a lot of people who truly didn't want to be part of my obsession, but were kind and went along with it. Thank you so much to my whole family! Mom and Day for the word help! Rachael, Austin, Matt, and Shyla for the character help and camera. I appreciate everything! I know I had a lot of fun. It's all in the scriptures people! Can you believe God told someone that he would toss him like a ball! That's wild, right!

My son, Elder Isaak, looks closely at our weakness to take credit for what God has blessed us with. We need to look at all the blessings that we have around us and realize that the Lord is the author of all of those things that we see around us, including the Book of Mormon. We need to show that gratitude through prayer and thanksgiving.

Israel Israel God is calling. I feel like my son Elder Isaak hit the nail on the head here. God is still calling His covenant people back to Him. He wants them, He will always want them. They will always be His people. Whether they recognize Him or not. We know by prophecy that someday He will come again – and they will see the nail prints in His hands and they will recognize Him as the Savior. And every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is their God!

Jesus Christ will come again! He is not delaying His coming. He is waiting until everyone has the opportunity to hear about the Book of Mormon. Missionaries can come and tell you about this second witness of Jesus Christ. Not everyone around the world has even heard of the first witness of the Bible. Until everyone around the world has heard of Jesus Christ, He will not come. Let's get the word out! Jesus Christ- is our Savior and our Redeemer. He has come and will come again!

My son, Elder Isaak, loves reading the scriptures deeply. And I'm so glad that he's willing to share with us his thoughts. This week he's talking about turning to God with repentance. This is the way that all of us need to change. To become more like Him. And to become the people that we would like to be. If you choose to do nothing, you are actually choosing Satan's way. Which seems crazy! Nobody would knowingly choose Satan's way. So we must actively make good choices to become more like Christ. That is the way to eternal life!

My son, Elder Isaak, looks deeply at the scriptures as he studies on his mission. He has looked deeply today at the words of Malachi- I'm so glad he did this because I didn't understand this either. I don't know that I have asked the Lord to not bless others- but I definitely have expected blessings in return for my good works. And sometimes we don't receive the blessings in this life. So it's much better to move forward and do our very best with the blessings that are given to us instead of praying for more blessings. Be grateful in all things! Showing gratitude is more important than praying for more blessings!

My son, Elder Isaak, talks about how we can receive a fullness of joy in this life. It is not easy! Most of us think of it as something that is given at the end of our life and with exaltation. But you can have moments of a fullness of joy as you partake of the sacrament, and other ordinances in your life, as well as other moments in your life. In this life it is only fleeting though. However, we are promised that that fullness of joy will remain in the hereafter. That we can feel those glimpses of Joy from this life forever in the next.
