A reminder that the life you’re building should be one you actually want to live. 🤍

I don’t believe in forcing productivity. I believe in paying attention to your energy. Over the last month I’ve built three websites. Last night, recovering from kidney stone surgery, I spent eight hours building an app because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Today? I’ll probably spend most of the day resting. Neither version of me is “better.” When inspiration shows up, I build. When my body asks me to slow down, I listen. The goal isn’t to hustle 24/7. The goal is to recognize when it’s time to create and when it’s time to recover. A meaningful life needs both. Stop feeling guilty for resting. Stop feeling guilty for building. Do both well. It would be silly of me to say I’m doing it all myself though, I allow people who want to help me help me. So thanks @sarahfranciswines for your help this past month.

When I want a little ME time I always love the workshops at @villagecalistoga the brainchild of @fait.byfaith a place for you to sip and play in Calistoga. The workshops are always a mix of creative experiences and connection with amazing women. Everything is on the table. Literally. Tonight was a silver pendant and watercolor workshop. You get to sit around an intimate table, connect with other women and PLAY and be creative in a space built for kids to be kids. I just love it here. If you ever feel like you need a little inspiration to take some time for yourself DM me, I have a guide for that and @villagecalistoga workshops made the list. @fait.byfaith also has an amazing new podcast @wearefidi I listened to on my drive. It tells the stories behind the most successful female entrepreneurs of our time. It’s incredible how relatable this subject is, and how much can be learned from those that came before us.
