Commissions ✨

Seeing the ideas, love letters, pictures, notes between family members all come to life is so magical….and this commission holds the most special story within it. I feel so privileged to be a part of this work/process and even more so with it being a dear friend’s commission.

Thank you @_bonniegray for making this possible. You are ✨

And @seido_art_services & @wearefrmd as always! What a team! And @freya.llewellyn.photography for the amazing 📸

Facing South, London, July 2026.

A look back at the private view and exhibition of Ronan Gallagher’s Facing South, the first publication from CH.S PAPERS.

Thank you to everyone who came down and to all those who helped bring the evening together.

Copies of Facing South are available now through the CH.S PAPERS online store.

We also still have a few of our exclusive one-of-one fine art prints from the exhibition available through the store, all gallery-standard framed by FRMD London.

I won’t go too much into the history of this house as I’ve covered it in an older post, but I will say it’s one of my all time favourites, alongside 2 Willow Road in Hampstead by Erno Goldfinger. This house by Alvar Aalto is actually what convinced me to buy a poster of it and get it framed by @wearefrmd It’s currently sitting in the corner of my home waiting to be hung up, but every time I look at it I notice another little detail. Honestly, just look at those details.

Proud to be part of a street with so many different voices, businesses and communities contributing to its identity, and excited for what grows from that shared connection.

Here’s a celebration of Lower Clapton Road and everyone who helps shape it, whether you’ve been here for years, have just opened your doors, or simply call Clapton home.
