What an incredible evening.

Bringing together a room of women to celebrate and share in honour of c-sections felt unbelievably special.

Some truths about the women who showed up:

For one, it was her first time leaving her baby
One is due with twins next week
One left her baby without feeding him to sleep for the first time
One arrived late, straight from bedtime
One left early to make bedtime
More than one travelled over two hours just to be there

This is what it looks like to be a mother and still show up.

There was honesty and openness. And there was a shared understanding of what it means to move through birth, recovery, and everything in between.

A very special night in our calendar. The food, the space, the conversation.

And the women, always the women.

Thank you to everyone who came. Our hearts are full.
