She became a model at 44. Today, at 50, Aparnaa Verma (@aparnave ) is walking runways, fronting campaigns and making her silver hair her signature. ❤️
But fashion was never part of the plan. A dentist by profession, Aparnaa entered the fashion world almost by accident during the COVID-19 lockdown. Her neighbour, HUEMN co-founder Pranav Mishra, asked her to model for a shoot. That one shoot changed the course of her life. Six years later, she has worked with top brands and leading designers. ⭐
And then there is the hair. Aparnaa stopped colouring her hair after developing an allergy to hair dye. Today, her silver hair is one of her most recognisable features.
Her response to comments about her age? She doesn’t fight them. She simply doesn’t absorb them.
From dentistry to the runway, from an accidental lockdown shoot to a second career in fashion — Aparnaa’s story is a reminder that sometimes the best chapters are the ones you never planned for. ✨
