🧜‍♀️My kind of afternoon pick-me-up! I made these little protein bites (NO BAKE) with oatmeal, protein powder, almond butter, honey & cacao, simple ingredients, a little something sweet, and enough protein, fiber and healthy fats to actually satisfy me. You can always play around with other ingredients in it too!!

I love having them with a cup of @wearerasa Rasa Matcha Cloud, a creamy matcha blend with adaptogens + functional mushrooms that gives me a nice, smooth boost of energy and focus.

And honestly, the chocolatey almond butter bites with the creamy matcha are SO good together. 😋 Healthy, delicious and the perfect little afternoon reset and simple to make!

People have been asking about my coffee routine 🤣🤣 jk but really I’ve had a few friends lately ask if I drink mushroom coffee and yup, sorta. I don’t think of it as coffee, but it does give me a delish warm drink in the morning or at night… or midday… with mushrooms and adaptogens. I think sometimes we imagine a regulated nervous system means we’ll finally become completely unbothered by life.

No stress. No overwhelm. No getting activated.

But that’s not really the goal.

In her presentation for the Embody Summit, Lopa Van Der Mersch, Founder and CEO of Rasa, shares such a simple way of thinking about nervous system support: creating a little more of a buffer between what happens to us and how our bodies respond.

I love that because it leaves room for us to still be human. Life can still impact us. We can still get stressed, frustrated, stretched, and overwhelmed. But with the right support, perhaps there can be a little more space between the stimulus and the response.
