I had such a bloody good time playing backstage with props and opening/closing the show every night surrounded by so many friends. Getting to watch from the wings as performances evolved and costumes got progressively bloodier 🥹 A girl can only dream of this kind of serendipity. Here's to more horror in the community theatre space! 🖤

Hopefully you had the chance to see Liz give an absolutely STUNNING performance in Dracula at #peoriaplayers 🖤

But if you didn't, let me introduce you to a different kind of transformation.

Wild, feral, a little wicked, and entirely herself. We played in the smoke, the shadows, and the spaces between beautiful and unsettling. There was laughter, a little chaos, and the kind of energy that makes creating together feel less like posing for portraits and more like stepping into another world.

These are just a few frames from our time together, and I’m still obsessed.

Liz, thank you for bringing so much of yourself to this ritual. You were magic. 🖤🌿

There is a particular kind of magic in being held by someone who sees you. In the unexpected tenderness of a friend. In the family we find, the people who meet us where we are and remind us we don’t have to become anything else to be worthy of love.

Sometimes being truly seen doesn’t come from the people we thought would understand us. Sometimes it comes from someone unexpected, someone who reaches for us without asking us to explain every piece of ourselves first.

Chosen family. The softness of an embrace. The quiet, radical beauty of being witnessed and loved as you are.

May we all find people who make it safe to lay our armor down. 🖤

Cressida in the style of Winx! This is a commissioned piece for my friend @weaving.light (check out her art!) who came up with this amazing mashup! I know many people see Cressida as more of a Trix, but i think S3 did a lot to humanize this very complex character ✨hoping we get many more season with the wonderful @jess_mads
