Oranges are so sweet and juicy. The variety is excellent and they're convenient on the go snacks. Whether you squeeze them fresh in the morning or eat them for dessert, you're definitely doing your body a favor.

How do you like to use oranges?

Portrait of a lady from Nepal taken around 1905. Nepali jewellery is on another level as you can see! The head jewellery she is wearing is referred to as "sir bandha" meaning "binding the head" and is commonly worn by many ethnic groups in Nepal. There are three bands, one following the central parting of hair with two others curving around the temples and joining at the forehead where a pendant may be present. These pieces are usually made of gold and decorated with colourful glass stones. This lady is wearing two pieces of nose jewellery, the "phuli" meaning "little flower" in her left nostril and a "bulaki" through her nasal septum. Her large disk-shaped earrings, called "godwari" meaning "marigolds" are common in eastern Nepal. She is wearing a number of necklaces including a "kantha", made of barrel shaped gold beads interspersed with felt pads usually red in colour, and a "rupiya mala" made using coins to both indicate and attract wealth. Thank you to @olga_rani for her blog which helped me to identify each of these ornate pieces of jewellery.
