What happens when you can’t use words… and have to pass a feeling down the line?

One emotion.
One line.
No words.
Just acting it out.

The last person had to decode the feeling and give it a name. And somewhere between confused faces, dramatic acting, and a lot of “WHAT WAS THAT?!” we got talking about emotions.
Because sometimes, understanding what we feel starts with simply learning how to notice it, express it, and put a word to it.

Teachers carry a lot, lessons, deadlines, responsibilities, students, and sometimes a whole lot of thoughts in between.

So today, we gave those worries somewhere to go.
Write it down. Put it in the balloon. Take a breath. And burst it. 💥

A small reminder that we can acknowledge what’s weighing on us without carrying it all day.

Sometimes wellbeing looks like slowing down.

Mandala colouring gives us a little space to pause, focus on the moment, and let the mind settle. 🌀🎨

No right or wrong colours. No perfect outcome. Just a few quiet minutes of being present with ourselves.

A small creative pause for the people who spend so much of their day caring for others. 🤍

A few weeks ago, we planted something a little different at the Alpha College mental health camp: a gratitude garden. We had no idea how much it would grow 🪴

Talking with these students was such a joy. So much energy, so much curiosity. And the best part was watching it click for them: “wait, I’m actually grateful for this?” Things they’d never stopped to think about were suddenly the first things they wrote down.
Those little woohoo moments stayed with us. 💛

Here’s what they had to say 🎥

House of Pebbles was glad to be part of Wellness Day at Alpha College, creating space for conversations around mental health and the importance of emotional well-being. 💜

Here’s to building a world where taking care of our minds is just as important as taking care of our bodies. ✨

Wellness Camp at Alpha Core, PECHS ! ✨🌿

A week dedicated to nurturing minds, uplifting spirits, and empowering students to prioritize their well-being!
The Wellness Week Camp brought together counsellors from across Alpha to create a supportive space for students to learn, grow, connect, and thrive. 🌈🧠

Together, we’re building a culture where mental health matters, self-care is celebrated, and every student feels seen, heard, and supported. 💫

Because wellness is not just a week, it’s a way of life!

Between two generations, there can be different languages of love, concern and understanding. Hear Me, See Me created room for mothers and daughters to step beyond the usual back-and-forth, listen with greater intention, and meet each other with a little more honesty, patience and care.
Because understanding does not always begin with agreement. Sometimes, it begins with feeling heard.

Somewhere between a mother’s instinct to protect and a daughter’s need to be understood, conversations can get lost. Hear Me, See Me created a space to find them again, with less defending, more listening, and a little more room to see the love behind each other’s point of view.
Because between her generation and yours, understanding can still meet in the middle.

Wellness Day made room for the things that usually get pushed aside: how we feel, what we carry, what helps, and who we can turn to.
A day of honest conversations, shared moments, and simple reminders that caring for yourself can begin with noticing what you need.
