Yesterday, I came home and gave myself permission to simply let the day soak in. Today, I woke up still smiling ear to ear- floating on cloud nine. At the heart of the song Crowded Table by Highwomen is human need to belong- to gather around a table where everyone has a place. Yesterday felt like that. It was a day filled with hugs, movement, laughter, dancing, stories, kindness, and so many beautiful full-circle moments. This studio belongs to every person who’s walked through the doors seeking movement, connection, education, and belonging. That’s the magic of FCYKC- it’s not the walls, it’s the people. To every family who came yesterday- thank you. Thank you for not letting the heat keep you away. Thank you for celebrating 10 years of a community that you helped build. A heartfelt thank you to @menorahmedicalcenter for sponsoring @sweetes_eatery and helping keep everyone well-fed! It was delicious! And the photo booth was a HUGE hit!!! To the wonderful team @beesocoffee.kc - your coffee was as beautiful as it was delicious. To our vendors - thank you! I am so grateful to call you part of this incredible network of professionals supporting KC families. @deltachirokc @thebirthbloc @wholehealthwithjamie @nurturelactationkc @lisavawterchiro @legacymassagekc @thediapersociety @dvsh_kansas_city @wisewombdoulacare @foundationalconcepts @wellrestedweeonessleep @ellenmariestudio To the FCYKC teaching team. I don’t quite have the words. Your kindness, dedication, and love for this community are felt in every class. I’m grateful we get to do this work together. 🫶🏼 @birthingchapters @emmiscott @thesixpetals @emilyksellers @jillianjamisongum @amandab.kc And thank you to my family. My greatest joy. I’ll hold yesterday in my heart forever. Thank you! 🫶🏼🎉🫶🏼 #prenatalwellness #postnatalwellbeing #kcfamily
