Omg you guys I’m featured in @ceramicsnow ! This is an absolute dream come true!💖🫶

#ceramicnow #ceramics #porcelain #worldbuilding

All the featured work!

Telling my story to the world feels hard but also feels like a huge relief. All these years having the feeling to prove myself to people and especially the art world it finally feels like I made my mark.

I always think experimentation and presentation is key. If something doesn’t work out, try again till it finally works. And keep believing in your work and yourself to succeed. If you have a plan, a vision, and the possibility to show it to the world. Do it.❤️

Animals Far From Now And Beyond has been my biggest installation yet to date. I created a world of the future in millions where humanity is gone and animals have adapted and evolved to survive and thrive. What’s a dystopian future for humans might just be utopia for flora and fauna.✨

I’ve never felt more proud of my path, thank you so much @ceramicsnow for this wonderful article🫶❤️

Craft and War explores issues of fabrication, makers, objects, uses and users throughout conflicts across the world to provide a critical understanding of the relationship between craft and contexts of war.

‘These essays air out marvelous examples of humanity’s dirty laundry by identifying many a ‘subversive stitch’ (often by a woman) that realized survival and resistance – and also distinct ways that craft has been co-opted into a nationalist symbol. The authors illuminate specific instances when the human penchant for genocide and civil war disrupted indigenous and artisanal knowledge and savor the expansive field of crafted objects as an immense archive of lived experience and emotions.’ – Ezra Shales, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, USA

🌍✨ 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒄𝒔.𝒏𝒍 | This World Environment Day, we’re excited to launch sustainableceramics.nl — an online publication and public research platform dedicated to exploring the complex relationships between ceramics, ecology, material innovation, and social responsibility.

Bringing together essays, interviews, artistic projects, archival material, and critical reflections, this website examines how contemporary ceramic practices are responding to the environmental and social challenges of our time.
