A heartfelt thank-you to photographer and event promoter Wendy Random for inviting Norman Carter & Damon DJ Minus Carter to perform at her Annual Cali Love NYC Lowrider Car & Bike Show at Johnny’s Reef Restaurant on City Island, New York.

Although the event was outdoors and the rain came down hard, everyone who came out stayed, enjoyed themselves and kept the celebration going.
When Wendy, Tone and Sol made the decision to move the performance indoors, Norman was still able to give the audience the classic soul and oldies show they came to see—and everyone had a wonderful time!

We truly appreciate Wendy, Tone, Oz, Evil Lopez & Sol and all the supporters who refused to let the weather stop the love, music and good times.

With many thanks,

Damon “DJ Minus” Carter
Norman Carter from The Delfonics
Proudly hired by The Delfonics’ founder, the late great William Hart. Rest in peace. 🎶❤️

Rain couldn’t stop the vibe in City Island. Big thanks to Wendy for hosting a solid lowriders and oldies gathering. The weather didn’t cooperate, but we learned to dance in the rain and turned it into an incredible show. Appreciate the invite and everyone who showed up—low rider family, low-low bikes, and good friends.🫡😎🙌🏻🇲🇽💃🏻💀🙏🏻🤳📸🏝️#mexasnyc #cityisland #lowrider #solohomies #lowriderlifestyle

🔥🔥🔥 The “problem” (I know, First World) with SoCal is there are so many amazing breweries, pumping out so many great beers, but there’s only so much room in my coolers. Glad I found room for the hazy from Rancho Santa Margarita’s new(ish) Mission Ready Brewing! “Two Canned Sam” is back, fruity, and delicious! Cheers from AZ. 🔥🔥🔥
