The Canon AE-1 and Kodak Gold 200 is the combination that got an entire generation shooting film. Light in the hand and typically paired with the classic FD 50mm f/1.8, it is a setup that simply steps out of the way so the photographer can just shoot. 📸

The aesthetic leans entirely into Gold 200’s signature warmth. Sun-baked terracotta, warm concrete, and natural skin tones hold their glow against saturated emerald pools. She shoots into hard midday sunlight, letting the shadows run dense to build contrast. Subjects are kept small in the frame, capturing the unposed, crowded rhythm of a coastal summer.
