Canon AE-1 Program
My favourite. Light, simple, reliable, and just feels good to use. If I could only keep one, this would probably be it.

Olympus Mju1
My favourite point and shoot. Small, easy, and always a joy to have with me.

Olympus Mju-2
Even smaller, even cuter. But somehow I still prefer the Mju1 in my hands.

Canon Autoboy 3
My first point and shoot. Loved it, but eventually sold it to fund the Mju1. One camera in, one camera out.

Leica M6
Beautiful camera, beautiful results… also beautiful anxiety every time I take it out because NGL, it’s expensive! *and it’s not mine

Yashicaflex
Slow, intentional, and forces me to be more thoughtful with each frame. Still in my collection today.

Fujifilm GA645
Put it on P Mode, basically a point and shoot experience… but in medium format. LOVE.

Mamiya 7
The absolute best.
Incredible camera, incredible results. I just wish it was a little lighter. by @weni.jong

A full day of light, from sunrise to sunset.
I’ve been putting the O-Log2 to the test, especially through all those changes in light and colour.
The amount of colour and detail you can pull from it is pretty wild.

I’ve always believed that the best camera is the one you have with you.
But for me, it’s not simply about having a camera with you. It’s about whether it can keep up with the way you see, create and tell stories.
A phone is always with us, and its camera has become so much more than a tool for quick snapshots. The technology today gives us so much freedom to experiment and create, sometimes in ways that would have once required a much bigger setup.
It’s pretty amazing what you can create with something that fits in your pocket.

Spring has sprung 🌱

I love winter, but I’ll always love the energy that comes with spring. New beginnings, longer days, warmer mornings… you know the drill.

The beautiful moments, the good photos, the stories worth remembering, there’s usually a little “but” hiding somewhere behind them.

Yes, but… here’s mine.

I love PORTRA 800

But… my bank account doesn’t.

I love seeing places I’ve never been before.

But… the jet lag humbled me real quick.

The Dolomites? Dream come true.

But getting there involved paperwork, anxiety, and an Indonesian passport (IYKYK)

I love finding places far away from the crowds.

But… apparently the kangaroos found us first.

I love that some places make the journey worth it.

But… Sydney to Oslo was no joke and I still had to make my way to Lofoten through the cold, dark winter.

I love a Bali getaway.

But Bali belly is a different kind of experience.

I love discovering places so different from what I know.

But… walking outside felt like opening an oven🔥

I love NZ so much, I wanted to experience it from a different perspective. So I got on a bicycle.

But… 77km a day was a real struggle.

I love a countryside farm stay. Wine, fire, sunsets, cows.

But then I looked up in the shower 🕷️

Island hopping through Indonesia for 24 days sounds pretty cool 😎

But… remote Indonesia means carrying a lot and travelling with very little convenience.

The Sydney Opera House is another one of those places I never seem to get tired of photographing. From different angles, different light, different weather, different cameras, different formats and somehow, it always finds a way to look a little different.

13 years since I moved here, and I’m still taking photos of it like it’s the first time. I don’t know what it is about this place, but somehow the magic never really wears off. Sunrise to moonrise. Rain, hail, shine ✨
I guess I’ll keep photographing it until I run out of ways to see it.
